Can someone tell me what Underhill is like?
I've asked a friend to go with me, but his response was a dire "No way am I going to Underhill! It's a nightmare!"

What exactly is wrong with it?  :hmmm:

It's just a crappy non league ground. Nothing more, nothing less. No reason not to go.

Ah I see. I thought it was more along the lines of travel that he meant, or parking.. But perhaps it was the stadium!
Is it like Supermarine?

No different from most grounds in this league.

The tube station is just over the road from the ground.

Driving can be a nightmare though (M25).

Plenty of Parking around Underhill, Just the norm really regarding pubs and chippies etc. would rather stand on the terraces in an old ground than have to sit down in a new stadium.

went in the ticket office today and they said  that we've sold just over 1000 now and if we really wanted we could extend the 1500 allocation to 2000 but i doubt we'll get that many

I thought we'd take 1200 down, which is fucking ace on a tuesday night....but after hearing 1k sold already, I think we may sell out and a few more may go depending on Saturday's result so 1500 or near enough would be quality!

I also think around 1200 will make the trip, that would mean around every third person there will be a Town fan.

Got my ticket a while ago. Last time I went to Underhill we missed all our penalties in the shoot out and I watched over an hour of football stood on one leg having broken my ankle celebrating a goal.

Needless to say, I'm hoping for a better night out this time around!

It's still undecided. There was talk on the Barnet forum that it might be on Tuesday, 31 Jan. I guess we're waiting on Sky.

I would be surprised if its any less than that, going to be pretty much half the attendance again as it was last couple of times we played them at Underhill.

And we have never won at Underhill, going to be a tough game.

Indeed..keeping the tie alive for the second leg, has to be the aim.  There's always a massive come down after  a high like Sat, di Canio may be tempted to use the squad. 

Wouldn't surprise me to see some more fringe players used.

Devera for example, played fairly well and N'hampton so would be surprised to see Flint get a rest, Also I don't think Caddis has missed a game yet, so he may well get a rest tomorrow.

Maybe Smiffy back in goal too.

The league is our priority and although though I think we all realistically expect to get to wembley, it shouldn't be done at the expense of our key players.

This is a long shot but if anyone is going by car and is willing to offer a lift for a bit of petrol money please pm me cheers.

Sorry to briing bad news but they are on about the second leg of the area final which will be at CG so the JPT final is played end of March.

I think he meant getting to the final, not playing in the final.
