I've been driving legally for 10 years now, but I'm only 25. How is that possible? Answers on a postcard please.

Does it involve living in America, particularly somewhere like California?

Me and my folks were chatting to a Norwegian couple on holiday a number of years ago, they said that they can start to learn to drive when they are 16 I think, but cannot take the test until they are 18.

Would you bother learning till about half a year before your 18th?  Wierd I thought.
