I'm seriously considering going to this and just buying a home ticket.

I think there will be a lot of town fans in the home end. I can see them moving the home fans along.

Think thats what im going to do, Dads mate is a Cheltenham fan he reckons no problem getting in home end pay on the day!

If you look on one of their fans forum websites, they are complaining that there are no seats at Torquay & they must stand !
What boring fuckers. Although given Cheltenhams heavy-handed stewarding in not allowing standing I am not totally shocked

If they took enough fans they'd get a seated section like we did a few years back. So it's their own fault :)

Just spoke to the cheltenham town ticket office, you can pay on the day in the home end but if identified as an away supporter you will be removed from the stadium

To be expected really. Although if tehre are several hundred town fans in one stand they may have to come up with a new plan pretty sharpish

Didn't realise that we had sold out so will have to go in the home end. Haven't been to Chelts for years so was wondering which Home stand would be the best to go in so as to be the closest to our fans ?

If anyone is going to attempt this I would advise against wearing your Swindon shirts as you might struggle to convince the stewards you are a home fan!

Swindon fans will have part of the In2Print stand, so you probably want to go for the higher-numbered seats in that stand to be near the away end

Just go in the In2print stand as close to the away fans as possible.

Why even bother ringing up to ask that? All that will do is make them more alert to Swindon fans in the home ends.

tbf judging by the blokes reaction in the ticket office i think hundreds of Swindon fans have probably phoned up to ask the same question; He didnt sound bothered in the slightest, just felt the need to make sure i understood to be a door mouse on the day or i'll be asked to leave politely

anyone going in home end I'd advise to be fairly discreet about being an STFC fan; I'm told that some of their fans are likely to report to stewards if they realise opposition fans in their end.

Very true. Which made it all the more enjoyable. Normally go out of my way to be extra vocal if i know we have infiltrators. The way they really want to say/do something but can't just makes me smile.

I went last year, easy if you dont make it obvious ur a Town fan. Didnt get the feeling last year there were many Town fans in the home end?

If i were a town fan needing a ticket in the home end, i would buy one as high up in the in to print stand and as close to the town fans as possible.

Probably looking at about a tenner DRS....if you get to the station you may be able to tag along with others and get a group saver with them which will be no more than a fiver if say four of you bought one,maybe even a little less.

From what i remember from last time, the stewards are very keen to "HELP" you find your seat and will have a word if u dont stay there. I plan on standing up. back row!

I'm going in the speedy skips stand (home terrace behind the goal), should get a great view from there aswell, anyone doing the same?

10% Season ticket still applies. So far this season (today) I have saved £3.15. Probably get to around £50 by the end of the season making season ticket cost £209. Bargain!
