Title: Things to do on a wet Sunday Post by: wiggy on Sunday, August 7, 2011, 16:18:41 What is everyone doing while it is pissing down with rain?
I have dug out my old Technics turntable and an amp and am playing a stack of vinyl. Half Man Half Biscuit on at the moment (5 track Trumpton Riots ep), with Cocteau Twins, The Fall, The Chameleons, Jesus and Mary Chain, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Echo and the Bunnymen all lined up. When I get a bit mellow later I will move on to Hendrix, Grateful Dead and Alex Harvey. I think I am going to have to move some furniture around in the lounge so it can stay out permanently. Title: Re: Things to do on a wet Sunday Post by: Reg Smeeton on Sunday, August 7, 2011, 17:44:56 I went for a walk....something elemental about being out in a thunderstorm....rain wasn't too heavy, and reasonably warm so doesn't take long to dry out. Another advantage is not many people about, and watching how wildlife reacts..

I'm now sat staring out of the window at the vastly improved weather marred by the fact it's about 12 degrees outside.
