What is everyone doing while it is pissing down with rain?

I have dug out my old Technics turntable and an amp and am playing a stack of vinyl.

Half Man Half Biscuit on at the moment (5 track Trumpton Riots ep), with Cocteau Twins, The Fall, The Chameleons, Jesus and Mary Chain, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Echo and the Bunnymen all lined up.

When I get a bit mellow later I will move on to Hendrix, Grateful Dead and Alex Harvey.

I think I am going to have to move some furniture around in the lounge so it can stay out permanently.

Ripping my entire DVD collection to my NAS.

I went to argos to buy a tent. Got back home, found out it was a 4 man instead of a 2 man, so took it back to get it changed.

Golf on the tv for the next few hours,unless the mrs nicks the remote.

Best thing to do on a wet Sunday is pop up to Tottenham and go do some gratuitous looting vaguely hidden behind the premise of it being a riot.

 I went for a walk....something elemental about being out in a thunderstorm....rain wasn't too heavy, and reasonably warm so doesn't take long to dry out.  Another advantage is not many people about, and watching how wildlife reacts..

I was hoping to sit in a beer garden all afternoon, but had to put a dampner on that idea.

Played football this morning.

A mate is having a BBQ in celebration of his birthday later, like he does every year and it pisses down with rain, every year.

Start work at 10pm, so not ideal....

How are you for players and have you got any friendlies lined up?

Got 18 signed on. Played one friendly, got three more lined up but am only playing players who have signed on.

 Trying to make sense of eric attempting to impress everyone.

Played tennis in the rain...went through wife's cds and found she has some Verdi so been driving the family mad by singing Paolo d Canio all day...

I spent the afternoon sat in a café in Lillestrøm as the token Englishman. I'm now sat staring out of the window at the vastly improved weather marred by the fact it's about 12 degrees outside.

I went to Pino's in Lechlade and had a lovely pizza and tiramisu. Then went home and did the vacuuming (boo)

600GB later and I'm finally done. It's only taken about 2 months.

Went to the pub and watched the hammers game, followed by the charity shield.

 Really nice pub lunch with family for my uncle's birthday now settled in watching the golf.
