When I came out of Sin City yesterday there were people coming out of War of the worlds at the same time and they all seemed to think it was shite which has kind of put me off seeing it. :?

And to add injury to insult I thought I'd get a small Doner to cheer myself up but with only 29p in my pocket I thought I'd get some cash out at that Nationwide machine in Greenbridge..

Card in..
Services not available: Cash

On a fucking Tuesday night... in Greenbridge... how busy can it be?

For a big budget blockbuster that was delivered to our screens 2 years before it was due out, it's not that bad.  Ok so the ending did feel like they ran out of time and ideas, and the ability to use battery opperated cameras (even though nothing else worked) at the start of the film was a bit shit, but it could have been worse.

As for good films out at the moment, you should all watch:-
Sin City
Kung fu hustle
Batman begins

Got the color wrong! Don't want to spoil it by giving the end away. Highlight (select) the original post now and you will see the ending.....

was that the ending from the book? i've only heard the musical, they die out because they succumb to germs from humans they've killed, despite being immune to all forms of illness on mars.

highlight it!

that's what i meant 8) they were exposed to the bacteria as a result of drinking the human's blood.

Went to see Sin City Wednesday night.. Excellent film, completely wiped clean my memory of War of the Worlds..

.. Still no cash in the cash machine though. Had to use the machine in the new Wetherspoons which charges £1.50, and then I couldn't resist playing the frutie. Fucking addiction
