Now I've reached 50 its time I got a greenhouse. I know the one I want and it'll be ordered tomorrow but won't be delivered for a few weeks. I want to put it on a paving slab base but I'm too fucking lazy to do the work myself and I'd only fuck it up as I'd like the greenhouse to hang around a bit. It'll be a 6 x 8 greenhouse so it would probably mean paving about 7 x 10.
Is there anyone out there in TEF land who wants to liberate me from my cash or know anyone they'd recommend.

Don't pave the whole area. It is good to have some bare soil inside a greenhouse to plant into. Pave a couple of feet at the far end where you can put growbags, and a path up the middle, but leave the two long sides as soil. I like to grow baby carrots, beetroot and parsnips all through the summer - they groe really quick under glass.

The greenhouse will mainly be for containers and seeds / potting until putting in the ground. I've got a decent sized veggie patch. I'm hoping to grow some serious chillies.

Only really a navvy - my wife does the clever things - I dig, weed, cut the shelter hedges 200ft long ! and wheelbarrow massive amounts of seaweed from the beach as fertiliser. It's great fun - not  :(

joteddyred's hubby and his mate did the job for me and a bloody good tidy job they did as well. Would recommend them. Actually, if they did a crap job I'd recommend the hubby - he's got arms the size of my legs - a big fucker.

The two nearest are drain covers (I'll cut in the slabs for those at the end). The one at the back that looks like a big hole is for a firepit.

Midway through the project and my back is killing me but at least it is moving in the right direction. Just the decking, coping and glass roof to go and then I can enjoy the start of the season!
