Anyone had any dealings with this place?

Long story short; car damaged slightly in accident, insurance company insisted upon it being repaired by Car Clinic, they found a problem when doing the accident repairs - radiator leak on opposite side of car to where damage was - and said they needed to order a part which would be replaced on Friday. Call this morning, nobody able to give an update on the car. Turn up at 12:15 and the receptionist denies speaking to anyone on the phone about the car.

Fuck knows what they're playing at, it's not as if they can hold the car to ransom - just wondered if anyone knew anything about them or had any problems?

I took my car in to a place on the way to calne as my insurance suggested it.

car came back in a new dent in it. That wasnt there after the crash, told the guy and he tried to tell me that the dent had been there for weeks, he could tell because of the rust inside the dent!!!

I'm no car expert but knew that was bullshit, I'd taken photo of the car after the accident for fuck sake. Also got a second opinion and confirmed it was total bullshit.

They sent out a guy from cardiff who just pops dents out, even though it was too sharp and pointed. He came all the way from cardiff took a 2 second look and said nothing I can do about that! no shit.

When I had the second accident I took it else where and told the insurance company under no circumstances was it going anywhere near anyone they recommend.

i took mine to baileys and they were ace.free courtesy car and had my car back quicker than i expected it.
wont help,but useful info for anyone needing insurance work.(expensive though)

try Simtek opposite the Swiss Chalet, always had any small jobs (on the car) done by them and good price if paying cash ..........

I just can't figure out why they're being so difficult about it. If the car is fixed, what have they got to gain out keeping the car for longer? Or denying all knowledge of any contact?

It's not my car so it's no big deal personally but the mind fucking boggles

They must be under a new name but avoid like the fucking plague. I had my car taken there about 3 years back and they were absolute lying, useless cunts.
