I'm thinking about this one... travelling from sunny Crawley.  Any SCR going?  How much are tickets?  What's the chances of rain?!

Yeah i'm going, got our tickets (£20 for terracing) and just get a group saver (around £16 each) on the day.

I am going to this and had hoped that it would be a great atmosphere, what with the team fighting for survival and needing our support.....oh well.

Had even looked at going Sheff Wendy as thought they may have been closer to us and battling for points also.

Looks like Brentford may be the end of season party!

Fuck it I'm going. Always love going to Brentford.

So do people pile in the pub(s) closest to the away end, or is there a TEF pub de jour?

No info on the offical site, but I'm assuming you can pay on the gate if you're too lazy to get a ticket beforehand?

Info is finally up on the OS. Still doesn't say about paying on the day, but it is perhaps implied by the fact you can't by student tickets on the day? I'm going to turn up, and if they turn me away then they'll probably have done me a favour anyway.

It was definately pay on the day last year, its fair to say they will probably be expecting less of us this season so it will be the same setup i'd imagine.

Yeah same as. Might go over to Fulham and watch the Jacko statue if I can't get in. Probably be more entertaining.

Not sure yet, waiting for the leader of the London Reds to say where we are all meeting. I'll probably head up with suttonred if he'll have me haha

Yeah I was thinking that sort of time, swerving towards 11 as that means extra pub time

Just rang the TO and they said it is indeed pay on the day. He said allow an extra 10 mins for this, but on past experience we do take alot there - but not sure how many fancy it this year? 750-1000?  :hmmm:

I'd guess more like 500-700 given our form, and imminent relegation, but would be delighted to be proved wrong!

cos the weather is sooo fab - ive decided to head down to this one - probably get the train or may even drive down!

As I havent seen us lose away since Notts Forest away under Iffy - something like 30 games - we have a good chance (I Hope!)

The Great Escape begins here - COME ON YOU REDS!

Whats that got to do with it??? Ive seen Swindon play about 30 times more than I have ever seen Arsenal play ...

 :fishing:

Which is your favourite team, on twitter its arsenal ;)

Title: Re: Brentford away
Post by: MichaelPook on Friday, April 8, 2011, 12:46:07
on twitter its mainly Arsenal I chat about because I have a lot of Arsenal fans following me - but I always mention Swindon too

I love em both - its a bugger at times when they play at the same time - I can be cheering a goal on the radio or at the ground and then a goal against the other makes me sad

Annoyingly only once all this season and last season have they both won on the same Saturday

Id personally like to see all Premiership games on Sunday whenever possible (as in Serie A) - I think that would increase attendances for the smaller teams as well

CSE English, when you see "?", it usually means it's a question / please discuss, rather than a statement, Knobjockey.

He wasn't knocking you, just saying that whatever the Scottish guy (jockanory) in the ticket office said take a few hundred off. He's well known to be enthusiastic with his attendance projections.

I cant be fucked to go tommorow. Been to every game at Brentford since 2001. I thought we were far too good to be going to the likes of Brentford back then. Come on lads, surely you aren't so bad as to take the winless record?

If they do break the record we should sing:

You broke the record, you broke the recorr-oorrrr-oorrrd, you're all fucking shit. You broke the record... :p
