To be fair Batch, me and Leefer were both on the same lines as him in relation to a point not being good enough in the grand scheme of things and the tactics being negative, but he got more entwined with the argument and it escalated.

I thought I was going mad when I just logged on and a load of posts had disappeared from the matchday thread, I thought one of the moderators must have deleted them.  Then I realised they'd all been moved here and the argument had continued with more people getting involved.

However, I wanted to raise with Lumps the interesting question of whether "shut up you thick unintelligent wanker" was in fact a pleonasm rather than a tautology. I believe even scholars of grammar would be split on the question.
