We have not heard from the club re renewals.  Have we been unlucky or is there anybody else not received a renewal notice?  Perhaps the club has decided to cut their losses on the assumption that nobody will renew!!!  Rung them today and was told that they had passed the contract for renewal notices out to a third party!! :cry:

I haven't had anything either, nor has my dad.  He has a different surname and address to me, so can't be they're going through the alphabet or anything.  We're in the not renewing camp at the moment anyway and if we don;t get anything through, I certainly won't be chasing them.

If you renew online using a debit card is there a charge? There isn't if you go to the ticket office, so was wondering if I could be lazy and renew from home without the extra charge?

Renewed my 'family pack' this morning plus managed to rope in a mate as a new S/T holder (he must be mental).... so that's another 6 who'll be there in league 2!
Really can't argue with the prices even if we are in the bottom division and gotta say the staff in the ticket office were top notch. We really do seem to be sorted now as far as 'off the pitch' stuff is concerned, just hope Fitton & co stick around long enough to sort it on the pitch.

I asked about this when I phoned up on saturday to renew. Chap said that if they had your e-mail address on file then they e-mailed you, otherwise they posted it. That said, if the e-mail wasn't opened (like mine, sent to an old address) then you should've had one posted anyway (didn't happen for me).

Also, i'm a student next year, though am over 21. Will I be able to get my cheap one (assuming I still am eligible) online/over the phone. ie with noone seeing my student card

I renewed last night before the game. I was already resigned to league two a month ago, so now I just wish we'd get this pathetic season over and done with.

Probably been mentioned by others but not been about lately.  Any one see Derby County offering a deal on season tickets where if you are not impressed by summer singings you can have your money back before season starts.  I can imagine some that renew would consider getting thier money back if they found Dossevi and Perricard still Swindon players next year,  maybe even if Hart was manager.  Is a good price if renewed before deadline but what people are buying we have no idea as could be a new manager and 15 new players.  But of what quality ?

My seat will be free to someone new for the first time in three years, I am not even gonna bother to go on Saturday.....I've decided to clean out the garage instead. I'm not a glory hunter who will only go when we are doing well, I just can't be bothered to turn up ( much like the team )  :(

Possibly the worst season I've ever seen us have, relegation imminent, season ticket price going up, personal finances less than they were, no one I can honestly consider as player of the year, potentially Hart or Trollope ending up next seasons manager, probably all of my mates not bothering next season, no letter from club about renewals...........yet still I've just decided to renew?????.........FUCKING STFC !!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's what being a fan is all about. Who expected the highs of last season? They just happen and if you're there to enjoy the ride then it's all the sweeter.

The worrying thing is that next year in the 4th division they are the type of players that we are likely to attract. Tommy must be dreading the thought of us getting out of the shit as he will go if we are in the 3rd but more than likely be offered an extension in the 4th.

I can totally understand people who travel a fair way for every home game not renewing. It's been a struggle for me to go and I only live 10-15 mins away from the CG.

I'm exactly the same as this.  No contact from the club, pissed off with everything about this season and worried about who the next manager will be and where we go from here.  My dad is adamant that he's not renewing and I'd made the same decision.  However, I now have a distraught 7 year old on my hands and feel like the world's worst mother.  I also planned to stay away on Saturday, but have had to reverse that decision due to my son's histrionics.  Saturday's game will probably decide whether I renew or not, as if I don't do the early bird scheme, I definitely won't renew.

Buckled in the end and decided to renew my 3 ST went in at 4:45pm this afternoon, Jockanory told me that they had done approx 3400 with a 100 online ones still to process. I am amazed that we have sold this many I really thought we would struggle to break 2,500.

If this is true,then the loyal STFC fans deserve someone far more inspirational than the likes
of Paul Trollope, to be our manager next season.

I've not renewed and have no intention of doing so...haven't quite figured out what my Saturday afternoons will consist of though but guess I can see myself getting to half of our home games...someone do the math for me based on attending 12 out of 23 home games next season please?

if thats true, then its quite an amazing figure. considering that the renewal price now is the same as this time last season, when were asked for 250 notes for a (what was then) extremely strong chance of championship football. this year we are all renewing in the surefire knowledge that it will be 4th division, at the same price.

I am still convinced that, when this season is just a bad memory, the club will do what they have promised they wont, and reduce the day ticket prices for 4th div football, and those of us who put our hands in our pockets now, will be royally shafted for our loyalty. If they put the pie prices up as well that will be the final straw

My suspicion is that the early bird prices are so low that everyone who is going to renew has done so now, and we won't see many more before the start of the season unless we appoint a major name as manager.

12 x 22 = 264 if you buy matchday, 12 x 20 = 240 if you buy before each matchday compared to 259 for ST. Unless you really want to retain the seat you are in because of the people around you etc then you are going to be better off paying as you go.

We renewed late this afternoon having been completely adamant that we weren't going to and it looks like a lot more than anticipated have done the same.

After the absolute shite we've endured this season, it would be really nice if Fitton and Co voiced their thanks to those of us that are sticking by the club next season (and those that aren't renewing for that matter).   It's the least we deserve. They really need to take a long hard think about their next move and make damn sure it's the right one.  Appoint the wrong manager, bring in more crap players and start off badly next season and the patience of the supporters will wear very thin quickly.

Slightly annoying as I went out of my way on Friday to pop down there and renew in time.

I didn't know it was being extended, but I informed Nick W. that there were a lot of people who had received nothing from the club re renewals.  He told me they were ringing people who hadn't renewed and offering a short-time extension, must be this Friday.

3300 not too bad all things considered.

Can't see many more people taking up Season Tickets tbh after Phase 1 prices.  I certainly wouldn't pay £299 if i could get it for £259 in Phase 1 unless i was flush.

Any more uptakes will be new season ticket holders or the odd late renewal.

We wont get anything over 4,000. The only thing that will tip the balance is if the board have a big name lined up to come in at the end of the season. A Wise or a Hoddle type manager that will get people interested again.

Ince needs to do his time somewhere at League 1/2. As in 2-3 years with a promotion in there and solidly establishing whoever in the division above and looking to push on. Then he could progress to a decent Championship side and progress that way, rather than trying to fast track into the Prem like he did with Blackburn and getting found out as being totally out of his depth. Not to say he won't one day be able to take a Prem side, but he certainly wasn't ready then.

Probably a fair comment, but traditionally (and this probably goes for most clubs) i doubt they would ever have contacted you at all. Anyone who wasn't aware of the deadline must have had their head in the sand the last 2 months and i'm sure you have your reasons for not renewing. Lack of contact from the club is unlikely to be one of these reason though.
