Title: Suit shops in Swindon? Post by: The Grim Reaper on Tuesday, March 15, 2011, 21:36:07 Start a new job end of month which is office based so for the first time in a long time i'm required to wear the usual atire. Not having purchased a suit for about 10 years now can someone in the know shed any light on reasonable suits at reasonable prices in Swindon?

Not many places that demand you wear suits these days but what I would say is shop around, not for the price but for the fit. Different companies will use different cuts and finding a cut that 'suits you' is more important than the label. Nothing worse than seeing someone who has paid 600 squid on a suit and still looks like a bag of shit! And nothing feels better than finding a suit for 200 that fits like a made to measure. Don't fall for the salesmans patter and get a suit adjusted - it will never feel right. If you are tall then Hugo Boss in the outlet do suits that are cut proportionately at reasonable prices... They were still being issued til the end of National Service in the early 60's.

I can't agree with this enough. Scrub what I said about the M&S suits, basically I love them because they fit ME perfectly.
