Title: Parking at tescos
Post by: Saxondale on Friday, March 11, 2011, 09:40:57
Morning all.

Just to let you know if you park at tescos they seem to be keeping an eye on things in their at the moment.  I got a letter from them this morning saying 'you've parked twice for over three hours in recent weeks, dont do it again'.  Roughly.  And 'As a valued customer we will overlook this second occasion but should it happen again it may result in you receiving a parking charge notice'.

The limit there is 3 hours.  So make sure you don't overstay that too often.

They record and photograph every car that goes in and comes out of the car park, my son works there and had to highlight his car and reg number so that he can park there with no consequences.

So the moral of the story is get a job a tescos if you want to park there while the match is on!

How do they get your address though from your reg surely DVLA are not at liberty to release those details

On the flip side, surely it's their car park and thus they can do what the fuck they like, within the law?

Well you deserved it then.

Wish they'd do the same for lazy cunts who park in the parent & toddler spaces.

Most of the time im back within 3 hours but on the occasions when I havent got kids with me and go to the winners (remember that word?  Its been a while) Im just over 3 hours.  I guess the moral is dont go and meet Mex in the bar.  Its his fault.

I guess they do have access through DVLA as well.  Wankers.  I never shop there and now never will!

How fucking petty......dont park in our car park otherwise we will gang up on you and tow you away.

I hate supermarkets and am contemplating buying scrap cars for a tenner each and parking them there.....tow them away you grabbing shit for food twats.

You try getting a 13 month old out of the car without having the room to open the door, you pair of cunts.

I enjoy smacking the fuck out of the car next to me with my car door whilst putting my lad in his car seat. It takes away the frustration of not being able to park in the parent and child spaces because some fucking retard hypocrite can't be arsed to engage their brain.

';)

Its just a matter of time before the vigilante car door dink crew hunt you down as the source of the problem.

I parked up at Tesco for game earlier on in the season and got told by a member of staff that you only have 3 hours and if parked for longer you'll be clamped. After 2 they shut the gate there as well so you have to walk the long way around to get to the ground. They know what they are doing. Only park there as a last resort and/or if you're running late as it shouldn't affect you then.

In that case I will park there again next game.
Like to see the fuckers follow me back up here :D

If you can buy scrap cars for a tenner you should take them down EMR they will give you £80 for each one :) Just a thought.

You try getting a 6ft 2 frame out of a car when some cunt has parked so tight because their kids are too fucking lazy to walk 20 yards

If you have to pay a parking fine, could you get clubcard points on it ?

If they'd parked in the parents with kids spaces you wouldn't have that problem though surely? So presumably it's not the parents with kids who are jamming you in, it's just bad parkers

you only need to observe people(debateable some of them) in car parks for 5 mins to realise you should park as for from everyone else as possible.
you'll find my car in the corner on it's own.no dents in the doors,or scrapes to the bumpers.

The problem is people with 10 year olds who still use the spaces or women that have a 'baby' park up leaving the husband and baby in the car while they go in but think they need the parent and toddler space

I seem to be a magnet for bad parkers. Tuesday night I went to pick something up in Stratton and there must have been 50 free parking spaces within 25 yards of my car.....I came out of the shop after 10 mins and the only space that had been taken was right next to me.

I was at a supermarket in Chip last thursday night and some donut had left me only just enough room to get in until I got to my foot..... a size 12 is a struggle  >:(

Why don't they just make all parking spaces a decent size?
