If you are heading anywhere near Newbury then Headley tyres are usually cheap. Title: Re: Tyres Post by: @MacPhlea on Thursday, November 25, 2010, 15:53:17 ABC in bassett are as cheap as anywhere I've seen on the net...
Title: Re: Tyres Post by: Samdy Gray on Thursday, November 25, 2010, 17:36:47 I used Black Circles before. Great price and they deliver them to a local fitter, you just turn up and have them fitted.
Title: Re: Tyres Post by: Simon Pieman on Thursday, November 25, 2010, 18:18:41 etyres are good. Cheap price and come out and fit them wherever you are e.g. work car park.

Ah Headley, so cheap that even Kwik Fit in Newbury buy them and then sell them on for a profit. Title: Re: Tyres Post by: jonny72 on Thursday, November 25, 2010, 19:43:40 You'll find some fitters will refuse to fit them if you don't buy from them as well.
I used Black Circle last time. Cheap (you can pay a fully inclusive price) and they book the fitter and deliver the tyres to them as well. Even cheaper as I gave up on the Michelins and went with a budget high end brand. Saved a fortune and the tyres seem pretty decent. Where can I get front brake discs & pads replaced? I have a Ford Fiesta (52 plate) 1300cc. Mr Clunge is quoting £130, could anyone recommend anywhere cheaper? Thanks :) Title: Re: Tyres Post by: Arriba on Friday, November 26, 2010, 08:39:32 Instead of starting a new thread, thought i'd tag onto this one Where can I get front brake discs & pads replaced? Title: Re: Tyres Post by: luckyluke699 on Friday, November 26, 2010, 09:59:24 I have to recommend "technoquip" in techno trading estate for actual work... really good. Give them a call, they'll happily quote you over the phone.
http://www.technoquip.co.uk/ 01793 528 298 - this is for discs and pads etc, not tyres ;-) Title: Re: Tyres Post by: pumbaa on Friday, November 26, 2010, 10:06:19 Blackcircles. Just got 2 Michelin Primacy's for just over 80 quid a throw. Even Costco couldn't beat that. By comparison, Kwik Fit were 120 quid each.
If you have a Nectar card, you can get Nectar points if you log into Blackcircles through their site. The only down side is that it normally takes 2/3 days from order to fitting, so not really an option if its urgent. Hope that helps.
