Title: Flu jab Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 00:03:09 A nurse is coming into my office to do these next week. I thought they only gave them free to high risk groups. Seems odd to me.
Anyone else getting offered this at work? Don't think I will bother. Title: Re: Flu jab Post by: thedarkprince on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 00:10:17 My work does the same.
Never taken them up on the offer but then I've never had flu so don't really appreciate how bad it can be for some. Title: Re: Flu jab Post by: Crispy on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 00:14:41 I get a free flu jab, and i've had flu.
Seriously, take it if its free. Title: Re: Flu jab Post by: flammableBen on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 00:16:19 I'd probably take it but then I really get off on needles/injections.
Title: Re: Flu jab Post by: thedarkprince on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 00:17:02 I'd rather take the free time off work :)

Title: Re: Flu jab Post by: Peter Venkman on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 09:51:10 I had my flu jab on Monday along with the pnumonia jab as precation against my illness.
It is usually given to those with low immune systems and high risk of death if you contract the flu. I had no side effects of either and if it works (which it does) go for it. Title: Re: Flu jab Post by: Sussex on Wednesday, October 27, 2010, 09:57:34 Cheers this has reminded me I need to book mine. Had it last year and didn't die. Must work.
