A nurse is coming into my office to do these next week. I thought they only gave them free to high risk groups. Seems odd to me.

Anyone else getting offered this at work?

Don't think I will bother.

My work does the same. 

Never taken them up on the offer but then I've never had flu so don't really appreciate how bad it can be for some.

I get a free flu jab, and i've had flu.

Seriously, take it if its free.

I'd probably take it but then I really get off on needles/injections.

I'd rather take the free time off work  :)

I've had flu once before and it didn't kill me. Sinisitus is just as bad.

I'm going to phone in sick on the day and say I've got flu :D

I had my flu jab on Monday along with the pnumonia jab as precation against my illness.

It is usually given to those with low immune systems and high risk of death if you contract the flu.

I had no side effects of either and if it works (which it does) go for it.

Cheers this has reminded me I need to book mine. Had it last year and didn't die. Must work.

I had mine two weeks ago becuase of a drug i have to take that kills most of my immune system,If offered it i would take it although your arm will ache for the next day there is no real side effects to it.

Do vast numbers of TEFers have Aids?
