Is it worth even bothering with the Merlin? What time does the winners open?

You'll probably be alright if you get to The Merlin early. I might just go straight to the Winners to be honest as i'm working and won't get there until 6 at the earliest.

I'll have 1 in the Merlin at about 5:30 and then to the Winners.

Merlin will be full of Gas won't it?

I've heard gas are going to either wetherspoons in town or the bulldog.

Surely Rovers will be in Sir Dans. Isn't The Bulldog a Swindon pub? If they get there I can see that triggering trouble.

I've seen police put alot of away fans in the bulldog in the past.

Also, a town fan has just suggested the merlin to rovers on their forum.

I heard that the Bulldog has plumeted to unknown depths of shiteness, let the gas have it.

I will sadly have to settle for my hotel room and a few beers from the vending machine in the hallway. I hope i can find a live link to watch the game.

The Police wanted Southampton to use the Bulldog a few weeks ago.
