Title: Paralegal activity Post by: pauld on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, 09:21:44 Does anyone have any interesting stories/experiences of unqualified lay people assisting lawyers on a voluntary basis?

Title: Re: Paralegal activity Post by: Saxondale on Tuesday, September 28, 2010, 15:25:24 My wife is a paralegal (more normally referred to as a legal executive). She is qualified to degree level in law and does actually do the same job as a solicitor.
And to play along - she is real because Ive seen her. As for any interesting stories, um, no its law, its very dull. I spent a lovely evening with her once helping her revise the direct effect of directives and the indirect effect of directives in european law. As I say, dull.
