Title: Red membership
Post by: jilly_one on Thursday, September 23, 2010, 14:28:35
Sounds crazy, is it really needed.  We already have the supporters club ( a fiver , £10  family )   that seems good enough. The Trust is defunct. You dont get much for your money £30 , and they wont post it to you, you have to pick it up from the shop ( for main membership).  The fiver one offers  v little.  Childs one may be ok at a tenner.    :crash:

Why can I see a red cross with 'is it needed' next to it under your message?

Anyone?

I think it is some kind of tag. They stay at the bottom of the page.

Apart from the club shop discounts, it's a relatively cheap way for those who don't attend often enough to merit a season ticket to ensure they get second-tier priority for games with high demand for tickets (e.g. play-offs, attractive 3rd round cup fixtures etc).

But as others have said, if you don't think it's good value, don't get one.

To be honest I think the scheme its bullshit as well,if the previous board had thought of such a scheming money making racket the forum would be up in arms. And yes you dont have to buy it but the sort of idiots that fall for this are the same idiots that buy a new shirt every season, its preying on the simple minded types blind loyalty.

it's a scheme to make money... any season ticket holder who isn't retarded would regard it as such and ignore it

I know we all try and look out for gary, but at some point we're just going to have to let him make his own mistakes.

Superb! Just made 3 colleagues turn round and stare, wondering what I was cracking up about
