Ive got one as well :( i put posion down but they arent taking it,though next doors cat and my dog have chased it so maybe theyve killed it.

My parents had a rat problem earlier this year, eventually managed to poison it only for the little bastard to crawl up inside the wall to die. You can still smell it sometimes.

I have a Daystate Harrier but after moving to Calne i am having trouble getting land to shoot on.
Nice - tis an increasing problem  I know a few of the gamekeepers but don't really have the time to commit to vermin control on a regular basis so tend to stick to helping the neighbours out (we all back onto farmland and have large gardens so rats are a regular feature!!

General rule of thumb is that for every 1 you see there are 5 nearby that you don't...

1 great thing about living in the country.. My step dad has 2 shotguns and 2 Air Rifles, cant wait to get some rats ;)

I'm a trapper where rats are concerned. Don't use any solid things in the bait cup like nuts or raisins, use choc spread  :)
They are clever enough to try and flick a raisin out of the bait cup with the tip of their tail  :nod:

Garden too small......Landsdowne estate - all new!

.22 pre charged a bit to pokey unless in a field etc.
