Title: KC Club Post by: DerbyRed on Monday, August 30, 2010, 12:45:54 Play a lot of online poker but want to start playing some live tournaments. Had a quick search online and the only obvious place in Swindon to play poker seems to be at the KC Club.
Is anyone a member or played poker there? Would anyone recommend it? Or are there any other poker clubs in Swindon that host regular tournaments? There are some very good players and some who will push on any hand just for fun. It's too cliquey for me to enjoy attending that much. You sometimes feel like you've intruded on someone else's private game!
I prefer to play at the Bristol Harbourside Gala, because you get dealers (most of the time). There's a not insignificant amount of cocks though. There's some hateful old Ruski cow who throws shit when she loses and will chase almost anything. I can also recommend it for a friendly game (or it used to be) Beer aint cheap in there mind.
