Those are pretty amazing pictures to be fair. The quality is incredible. Russia and the surrounding Republics is an amazing place with an amazing history (which I don't know much about if I'm honest) I need to do something about that.

Good photo's. Others for consideration for those who like old photos, are Burton Holmes  http://www.burtonholmes.org/   and Albert Khan  http://www.albertkahn.co.uk/  both travelled exstensively in the late 1800's and early 20th century, well worth picking up the books, and also the DVD for Albert Khan.

Were did you meet her? I've only ever met 2 Russian women in Swindon....one as fit as fuck with a black gansta in tow and the other artistically bonkers.

i went to ukraine last weekend (kiev) would recommend it, some of the museums were amazing for this sort of stuff as was the vodka and women.

photos of this quality would not be available even 40 years ago let alone 100.
someone's nipped in to the local giggles & hired a few costumes
