pigeons are the dumbest birds and i've hit loads of them.
hit loads of rats and rabbits,and 2 foxes.
the first fox i hit was a cub and i didn't know for sure if i had hit it or not as it went under my trailer.i went back and saw it dead.didn't sleep that night.
hit an adult fox(again under my trailer)which ran out across me on the m40.i felt that one under my wheels.
that was the biggest thing i have hit(hopefully the biggest i will ever hit)
i know people who have hit deer. they make a mess and damage too

I saw a hedgehog cross the M25 this morning....was visiting his flatmate.

i just went for a walk and walked up to within two foot of the badger before it ran off to continue its badger activities elsewhere. they look like little bears

I came really close to hitting a dear once going through wanborough. It ran across the road right in front of me. If I'd be going about 2mph faster I would have hit it.

Probably because you lived in the country....they get gassed. Urban badgers are not exactly common but I've seen a few around where I live.

Once was going in a convoy to  my lad's football match in the sticks, when a horse jumped out of a field and smashed into the windscreen of one of the cars. Made a right mess of the single mum in the front seat....stupid bird whose horse it was more upset about the dead horse, than the woman who was badly injured in the car. Was I surprised ?....no.

People get very protective of horses Reg, she was probably oblivious of the other person's injuries because she was in a state of shock, sounds horrific. Hope the woman wasn't lastingly damaged.
