Title: Green Day Post by: Kinky Tom on Saturday, June 18, 2005, 23:08:53 Just got back from the gig, it was baking all day, loads of totty around too. :D
They were pretty good, Billy Joe is a great entertainer. Managed to avoid all traffic, based on local knowledge of the back roads. Next stop Glasto. 8) Title: Green Day Post by: blinkpip on Saturday, June 18, 2005, 23:12:04 I wish I could of gone. How was Jimmy Eat World. One of my top bands.

Title: Green Day Post by: stfc11 on Sunday, June 19, 2005, 10:50:00 haha yeah that kid looked so scared to start off with...stage dive was good! and the guitarist who got to keep the guitar looked amazed!! i was about 100m from the stage was good! made quite a few drunk friends and got soaked in beer!
Title: Green Day Post by: Nomoreheroes on Sunday, June 19, 2005, 14:12:21 I bought Dookie when it came out about 12 years ago. Remember walking past Wembley arena a couple of years ago and noticed they were on. Told the wife that was the group who sang a couple of songs she thought were alright. Jokingly said shall we go to see them, when we noticed a large group of young kids all wearing Green Day shirts and presumably off to the gig. Felt very embarrassed as they seemed to be a teeny-bopper band - a la Steps ! Heard really good reviews of American Idiot, but can bring myself to try it because of this incident !
