I don't know if anyone else noticed but there were not many women at the Town v BHA game.

What is the ratio of men to women STFC ST holders - anyone know?

Has any reasearch been done on teams who have a higher proportion of women fans attending games?

I would think the club are interested to receive income from many sources and if my perception yesterday were right, then maybe a campaign to attract more female supporters is called for.

It may not be reflective of match attendance but on here it's nearly 10:1

if the club attract more attractive women to come along maybe some of the booing mongs would just stare at women that aren't their mothers

Could STFC do a ladies' day at a certain match - i.e. women get in for free or at a reduced price? Or is that not allowed in today's PC world? I think in employment terms you can potisively encourage groups who are underrepresented; can Town encourage female fans are they are underrepresented?

Last season when you were missing.  One of our games was sponsored by a local Gentleman's club with no complaints if I remember right.
On the other hand, I do like the idea of giving free seats to minorities.  Or perhaps individuals on here could bring a friend from Broad Street and pay for them through the turnstiles.  Seriously, sponsor an ethnic, come on lefty liberals put your money where your mouths are.  You'll be doing your bit for multiculturalism and improving out attendances.

Blokes wouldn't have to go on shopping trips on a Saturday if their birds were going to games with them, and you'll get more families attending as well. Plus it's always nice to have some decent skirt to check out when the football's crap.

One of my footballing highlights watching the Town was my other half shouting abuse at the Ref after he had given a penalty against us at Palace.  It wasn't so much what she shouted, just the timing as it came about 30 seconds after everyone else had stopped swearing at him. I think it was just building up & she couldn't contain it any longer :D

The other benefit is she understands when I say, look it's a game we HAVE to go to.
