Title: My four
Post by: leefer on Sunday, August 1, 2010, 12:04:40
To win the leagues this coming season

Chelsea
Middlesbrough
Huddersfield
Southend.

Got a feeling Southend could bounce straight back this year...in our division i think Notts County could be a real force also, but Huddersfield look good for me...if we get a decent start we could suprise a few again.
The Championship is wide open again but Boro looked fairly decent last year and have made some good signings..Forest should be there abouts again also.
Would love to see a change in the Prem but feel Chelsea and Man Utd will fight it out.

I do rate them, they could make playoffs but not to win the league!

Have a look at all 4 of his picks Spy.

Methinks he was trying to be amusing.

I think I'm a bit gullible on here tbh.

I don't get the Southampton thing. Haven't they released about 14 players and barely signed anyone?

I am probably totally wrong here.

Southampton's big problem this season is the amount of pressure on them to go up. They need to start the season well and stay comfortably in the top two or it's only a matter of time before Pardew will be sacked. Having that level of pressure on you is never good and could easily backfire on them.

Man City will never win anything, Coventry are signing anyone who is available (and Lukas), we'll definitely challenge but I'm just being optimistic and Bradford are forever fucked.

so yes!

Chelsea
QPR
Peterboro
Southend

The championship I think is going to be the most open for years with any team that put's 2 or 3 wins together being at the top, it does look like possibly that only QPR & M'Boro may have the strength in depth to cover for injures etc but time will tell

likewise L2 I think will be very open run there isn't anyone down there that is too strong, Sturrock has signed something like 16 players on pre-contract but they still have to gel

L1 is going to be tough with a number of teams capable of finishing in the top 2 p'boro, Sheff Weds, Swindon, 'uddersfield, Southampton to name a few, then you have to look at Charlton and Colchester and wonder if they will be as strong.

Should be an exciting season....as long as we are at the top
