Post by: Bogus Dave on Wednesday, May 26, 2010, 23:24:09
I was planning on having shreddies, possibly with toast afterwards depending on how I feel.

Bowl of Cheerios with a lashing of green top milk for me. This is largely symbolic as I believe we will be saying cheerio to League One.

Due to some absolutely splendid forward planning, my other half, in her infinite wisdom has arranged for us to go to a party Friday night. In Oxford.

Breakfast will probably be something from Victoria after the 6am start to get back to the South Coast for the choo choo.

Oxford to Wembley via Brighton?!  I can think of simpler ways of making that trip.

Would be easier to get the train from somewhere around Woking I suppose. I wouldn't know where to park though.

Edit: Its still £20 ea. from Woking so might as well get the car back so I can have a few (cokes. Sigh.)

r4e likes this. Hard to beat a bacon sarnie and a cuppa when you've woken up in a tent!

the only drawback is the desperate need for a piss, and the 1/2 mile walk to the bogs!

(there used to be a time when one would skip the walk, but am older and more responsible now!)

On the morning of a big game I'm normally a mixture of nerves and hyperactivity so breakfast will probably be something quick like a bowl of cereal.

I'll then have a few nerve settling tins on the train.

When at Wembley, I would imagine i'll consume an Abramovich burger. (Called so because he's the only one who can afford to buy one!)

I'm glad you've started this thread because I haven't even thought about it yet. Looks like a full English and a couple of beers would be a plan though.

I think I'll be giving breakfast a miss.  If my track record on play off final days is anything to go by (I'm sure I mentioned the tooth brush vomiting episode from 1993 recently) I'm going to be a bag of nerves and good for nothing that day.  Certainly don't want to be upsetting the balance and doing anything reckless like eating.

Good work all. Think I'll be too nervous to eat - if not, it'll be a Spoons breakfast for me (with black pudding, not mushroom) and a sleep in the car.
