Title: The small band of Millwall...
Post by: lord ox on Tuesday, May 25, 2010, 13:13:09
twats who seem intent on causing trouble.

Here's how to avoid any problems;

Pretend to eat pie and mash and swear a lot

take disposable tracksuits and plastic (but effectively shiny) replica jewellery and put them on in an emergency

nod your head back and forward like pigeons do - it's an instantly recognisible genetic malfunction in that part of laaandon

Carry dog leads and pretend to be looking for your pet by shouting out its name -some dog name examples, tripe, killer, dracula, bastard, saliva, throat slasher, aveit. They will join your search and commisserate at your perceived loss

Mimic the Millwall big boys by drinking pissy fizzy lager, collect empty pint glasses and put them on your table in the pub to make it look like you've had 16 pints instead of the three that got them drunk.

Mention names of imaginary children such as  kidney, liver, trinket, smack, stab, knucklefuckle, kokeye, kuntyone and wankyboy these will be instantly recognised by the Millwall fathers who will brag about this when they go back to school/borstal

Talk as if your experts on hunting dogs (no not the saturday night out thing) and speak in affectionate terms of the first time your bull mastiff ripped off a pensioners bollocks and spat them out. They will like that.

Leave all your morals, instincts and intelligence at home or in a train station locker until after the game then you will become one of them and be safe. If your see that twat Liddle feel free to unscrew his head and ask a police horse to shit in it.

Good luck and enjoy the championship next season.

The trouble with Millwall is that when the authorities stamp down on them or when the media highlight their unsavoury exploits they stamp their feet in indignation and claim they are victimised. Yet you only have to spend 2 minutes on their fan forum to realise what vermin they actually are. To go away and get a result means a completely different thing on their web site than it does on other football fan websites.

Their reputation at being scum is well deserved.

On their website they are talking about how they slapped Scunthorpe supporters last year at Wembley and how it was disappointing they could not get at them before the game as they did not use the tubes. They say this year they will have more opportunities.

For the sake of the Championship Swindon must beat this scum and keep them in the lower leagues.

It would have been much better had Swindon gone up automatically and Millwall and Leeds eradicated each other. But Swindon might just have to take one for the Championship teams.

Why '6fingers' anyway? It's either proof that Millwall fans are a bunch of inbreds, or...their merchandising dept. has received a dodgy consignment of large foam hands innit.

Spot on post and couldn't agree more. They do seem to think that gathering in numbers and laying into people who are not interested in violence somehow makes them hard. I wonder how many of these fans (loose term) ever travel outside the safety of South London? I was wandering along Commercial Road in Peckham many moons ago after a night on the pop with 4 mates when a car suddenly drew up alongside and out jumped four meatheads giving it large that they were Millwall and launched an attack on us. I did try to warn them that the other three were in the army but they wouldn't have it so they got their arses kicked(not by me I was shitting myself). Couldn't believe that these fuckers spent their saturday night driving around south london looking for people to attack. They just seem to be driven by some macho desire to maim innocent people. It's why I hate them.

If you look at that thread carefully you will see that most said that it was bang out of order what happened Millwall dont hit scarfers that is fact, if 2 like minded people want it then let em have it! I personally don't have any problem with Millwall, whenever I have seen them play Town I don't recall seeing any bother or any animosity. I for one will be treating this game as any other, I'm going to enjoy myself and nobody will be ruining my day  :)

Most of us are m8 dont worry about that i wouldnt be surprised if you ended up having a beer with a few?! Whats your feeling about sat? I wish you hadn't have made it personally as i think you are much more dangerous than the anoraks, and with it being a one off form goes out of the window(just look at last year after beating the weeds, who were the form side, we lost to scunny!!) and the result could go anyway! Is greer a big miss for you in your opinion??

Title: Re: The small band of Millwall...

Depends with Greer, we have JFl who will fill in. Could be brilliant, could be a disaster.

Greer's been making a few mistakes lately so who knows? I hope Lescinel doesn't buckle under the weght of expectation/pressure but he seems to be a confidence player and he is more confident in the middle than on the left.

Greer is a big miss, his replacement can be great or, erm, not so great. But thankfully at centre back he's been pretty good.

Which way will it go? Who knows. I'm pessimistic, just like I was before Charlton. I was also convinced we'd beat you at the Den. So I'd be worried if I were you!

Millwall were the ones I was hoping to avoid. You were the better team a couple of weeks back but we were off form that day. In the home game we were much better than you and I wish Douglas really had taken that cheating cunt Abdou out to waarant his red card.
Your 2 centre halves look decent as does Morrison. We've got a front 2 ( and Ward ) who can take any half chance.
I can't see more than 1 goal in it. Its either going to be a thing of genius or a complete fuck up. we are more than capable of both.

Yea ive seen a little bit of them like when you played the anoraks, exeter, the Den, and ward looks the tastiest of your players although austin has been pretty much like morrison a revelation!! In all honesty i can see another game like at the Den with a few goals!
Just a thought with the game at the Den, i dont know if you went but you didnt start playing hoofball you were knocking it around quite nicely, it was only the closing down of your players like hounds that made you revert to that game do you not think?

Greer is a big miss, but then if Lex is having a good day, he's more than capable of filling in. I think this game will be as open as Courtney Love and we'll all have a few goes at both ends. I predict many goals and a classic match (pitch permitting).

Yes, i had the delights of Millwall and the nice walk from the train station to the away end. Had a drink with a few of your older lads at All Bar One in London Bridge.
Millwall had done their homework on us. Chasing down our players in possession works a treat but the bad news is that we are very good on the counter so if you get tired or lazy it could be costly. I hope we sort out our left hand sdie as all your 3 goals came from there.

Wembley might provide a bit more space to pass the ball around than the Den. I say pass, lets be honest, on that surface the ball will look like its be delivered courtesy of Barnes Wallace.

Well we heard the very same noises from huddersfield including their manager claiming the were the best counter-attacking team in the league and it didnt bother us! Having watched all season we are a much better second half team, and not that bad on the counter-attack ourselves so i can see it being a very nervy end to end game! :headhurts:

You did your homework and did close us down well. whether that will work at Wembley is debatable. Best team to do that to us this year was Walsall a few weeks back, they genuinely did make us play longer, and consequently we struggled. Be hard to keep that up for 90 at wembley if the game sets up like that.

Title: Re: The small band of Millwall...

We were proper crap at The Den, if we play like that at Wembley we'll probably lose.

That said I think Millwall are pretty formidable at their place, away from home not so. It's definitely not cler cut either way, but with the league so tight it would never be.

Its going to be a close one. If we can keep Morrison quiet we've got every chance. If we mark him like we did a couple of weeks back then you'll be renewing your friendship with Leeds.
Best of luck and enjoy Saturday Gobby Lion - you seem relatively decent for a Millwall fan.

I wonder was it a plan to eek out the millwall good guys to come on to this forum and be like proper human beings and discuss football instead of the mindless thuggery that one or two trackie dog owning sorts were banging on about?

My job as peacemaker is almost done.

Sizeable in relation to what?

It seems that generalisations and "I've read the Sun newspaper" comments are the order of the day on here.

I'm sure, as has been stated on either this thread or another one (can't be arsed to check), that you have your own 'idiots' that will keep ours entertained so it seems that they'll even themselves out. Don't let that stop you from only digging one set of the like minded supporters out though.

Let's hope that everyone has a cracking build up to the game.

I'll leave the predictions and name calling to the 'assume and presume' merchants.

Well alot of us see extracts from Millwall forums and to be honest with you crafty after the Amankwah/Harris spat we saw alot of the underlying racism etc rise to the fore.
Now obviously we all know that Millwall have a good and loyal band of fans as well as the idiots and to be honest the policing and stewarding at Millwall was brilliant...i had a fantastic day at your ground.
The Club have worked tirelessly and at great cost money wise to get a decent image for the new Millwall..............hopefully on Saturday more than 30,000 Swindon fans can walk away from Wembley(win or lose)talking about this new Millwall and there fans............i hope so.

I very much doubt they will as people tend to believe what the media wants them to believe.

People such as yourself obviously know about the work the club has done and continues to do, not only in our local community, but also for football in general.

Unfortunately it takes only a moment to gain a reputation but more than a lifetime to rid yourself of it.

this is why people shouldn't feel worried about where to drink around Wembley.

The "idiots" will find themselves a place to go and have fun away from wembley and the police.

To be honest we were under par when we played you (much like a few of your fans said about yourselves) at our place.

I think both of us will be reliant on our strikers to be the difference.

I've had more hassle at port vale and stoke than my trips to the old and new den but cant help thinking i'll have to keep looking over my shoulder if we win especially after hearing stories from those scunny fans.

Lets hope we are talking about the match after and not the ugly side of football.

To be honest we were under par when we played you (much like a few of your fans said about yourselves) at our place.

I think both of us will be reliant on our strikers to be the difference.

Oh, and thanks for the whole "won all three" quip. Really needed that  :(

Let the best team win.

I'll leave the predictions and name calling to the 'assume and presume' merchants.

i base my opinion on what i've seen, been told by reliable sources, read, etc,not tabloid newspapers.
i go to london alot through my work(trucker)and know some millwall fans, not the chavs in caps but proper old skool men who've been round the block.i trust what they've told me to be true.

i dont dispute that the majority of your lot are ok, but by "sizeable" i meant enough to cause trouble, and more than most clubs have.i stand by it.

we have a few for sure, but nowhere near what you have.your reputation is based on actual events, not the sun newspapers.though i exept that stuff does and will contiinue to get blown out of proportion whenever millwall is mentioned.

Let the best team win.

Unless its them, then we'll take an undeserved 1-0
