Post by: sonicyouth on Saturday, June 11, 2005, 13:25:00
Preferably someone who deals with applications and stuff in their job, cheers.

I've trimmed it down to one page, that's good yeah? 8)

they say 2 pages max.
most employers get bored if any more than 2 pages.

Obviously if it doesn't fit onto 2 then 1 is cool

I could stretch it to two, I've made it really really small to fit onto just the one page, a little bit of formatting and some padding out of sentences would make it fit two easily - do you think that'd be better?

i think if you can spread it across 2 it looks better, means you got a bit to say about yourself but not to much

Change the font to Tahoma size 10 looks a lot better than arial, the layout looks ok and to the point, put the scoreboard thing under jobs, makes it look like you've been doing something for the past 4 months 8)

couple of things.

1 - Downsize your name etc at the top. Doesn't need to be as big.

2 - Place your working experience with the latest job at the top.
Whether this is the right thing to do but it's what i've always been told

You spelt responsibilities wrong in the pharmacy bit in jobs. Not sure if I'd say I was into drum and bass as a lot of people have no idea what it is so they have the wrong impression about it, then again they might not care.

Definately add this site to it. Something along the lines of website editor. No one knows it wasn't a paid job.

When we've got a design and some content, I will. Until then, I think I'll leave it in case they come and look at it and think we're all weirdos belonging to some sort of cult.

which is half true...

Good call, but you don't have to name the site.

If they ask just say guardianunlimited.com  8)

Highly believable I think  :D
