My Dad said that twice to me in my younger days:
Wolves semi-final away (imagine that!)
some cup game at Ipswich

I couldn't do anything about it, but I still think he was wrong.

Got my own back later travelling all over the country day and night watching the Town - there will be plenty of games in the future where hopefully you can say that, might not help now tho' - I feel for you

how would that help?? My dad and boyfriend are going to a rugby thing that day so can't go to Millwall - hence why my dad doesn't want me to go on my own! Well with Zoe but you know what I mean.
But I quite fancy wearing a long trench coat glasses and carry a newspaper with 2 eye holes cut out now!!

On the couple of occasions I've been before we ended up in a 'spoons near London Bridge and also the Market Porter which the TEF London contingent suggested to us.

From there it's a short train journey from London Bridge to South Bermondsey and straight into the away end.

Market Porter is the boozer of choice round there, but within a 2 min walk there are several other good/safe pubs, Inc the Bunch of Grapes, and the Barrowboy and Banker to name but two.

My Millwall supporting mate recons we will be given the lower allocation of 2,500 and not the full 4,500 which would mean opening up the lower tier of the stand.

I would like to think that we could easily sell 4,000 tickets for such an important game.

I think that wholly depends on whether we've still got anything riding on it by then. If we can claim automatic by winning, then I'd also like to think we can better 2500, if we're out of contention for automatic (or we get it sewn up the week before at home!), I don't think we'd take 2000 tbh

This is what one of them said about our Big Kev

"Its a shame he has to be just playing at a football match ,because I wouldnt mind spotting the prick on a pavement somewhere."

That bloke has been banging on about how he'd like to 'carve up' Manks as well. I cant help but feel, considering the size and athleticism of Manks that some snotty little Millwall fan would get his arse handed to him by Kev. Not that it'd ever happen though.

if people think they'd be ok walking the streets if we stopped them going up,if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time, you will get a kicking.
the reason it was ok before is because there was nothing riding on it.
the fact they've sold out means they are bang up for it,and we all know what they are like when they lose big matches.

That thread is ridiculous. The general consensus on here was that Kev had done something stupid and we don't really know the full facts. Over there it's just post after post of "I'm not racist but (insert racist comment here)", based on nothing but the claims of Neil Harris, which may or may not be truthful. At the end of the day, only those two truly know what was said and for the Millwall fans to already be planning chants etc is sad and pathetic.

Although I would quite like to see some chavvy Millwall fan charge on the pitch to confront him and for Kev to put him in his place :)

Are you really saying that you'd be as worried by going to a friendly-ish club like Wycombe for example than you would millwall?

I think people will be alright if they keep their wits about them but the riots v west ham earlier this season would seem to suggest they still have a sizeable hooligan element.

Looking forward to the playoff queues then Arriba ?

I suppose they could take 'phone orders then require the voucher to be handed over on collection - those queues would be impressive as well, and then you'd be open to the   "forgot my voucher, picking them up for someone else, I didn't know that" routines.

I can't see season ticket holders taking up the full allocation though, could be a scrum for the remaining tickets, It's quite clever of Millwall selling them this early, as there might not be anything significant riding on it in 10 day's time.

I don't think we get the lower stand tickets for safety reasons. Let's face it, there's a very big risk of 'on the pitch' for both sides.

Voucher B is the voucher with the big letter B in the right hand corner in your season ticket book and yes you do so you dont buy a ticket over the phone and then go in person to get another ticket to cheat the system. That said they may log it on the PC?

I'm assuming they're doing this because the home allocation is sold out and they don't want the risk of Millwall supporters buying up away tickets??

I'm going to be seriously fucked off if there's no general sale.

I don't think we get the lower stand tickets for safety reasons. Let's face it, there's a very big risk of 'on the pitch' for both sides.

There is a big risk of on the pitch for ONE side only, im very sure of that. I cant really see many town fans wanting to have a centre circle party with Millwall fans in their own ground. Even if we did somehow manage to clinch second spot.

To be fair I can see why they are only available to ST holders. I think it's only fair that people who have had an ST this season get priority considering we have 3,000 ST holders and only 2,200 tickets.

But ST holders have a week to buy them. If they don't sell out after that then they should go on general sale. The club has a database specifically designed so that they know who is buying tickets. I don't see any good reason why somebody on that database should not be allowed to buy a ticket after the ST holders have had first dibs.

I reckon they'll get released on GS with a week to go as many will not decide until then and will want to see if we have a chance of 2nd or not.

They've sold 17300 + our 2200= the capacity of 20k near enough, that would suggest that Millwall fans will be in the lower tier of the "away" end.

I don't see why they can't sell tickets to those already registered on the database. Surely this will ensure Millwall fans don't get in the away end.

The bloke in the ticket office said Millwall are in the lower tier.

Also, he said that the ticket restrictions have been put in place by the Metropolitan police (as Mex(?) said earlier) and because of this they do not know if any will go on general sale... any unsold tickets may have to be returned and we'll lose them. Sounds a little unlikely, but that was the story this morning.

Fancy dress costume is a Greek warrior, Party theme is the letter J so I'm going as Jason and The Argonauts (my first name as well). Will drive down to Bristol after getting back to Malmesbury where I live. If the weather's good I might do the fancy dress. The party is for a friend who is a City fan (should that be in the same sentence) and he's on about doing the same thing at Ashton Gate, he wore a pink leotard on his stag at a Polish Speedway GP! Said it was really scary as about 15,000 Polish skinheads going mental

I'm wondering if there is a chance Sky might cover the final day of League One live if it still as close as it is now. They are doing it for the Premier League (with two live channels) and the Championship (one live channel), so why not? No other live games that clash and it would fit in nicely between the two Championship playoff matches they're showing.

I got tickets this afternoon. Can't for the life of me figure out why it's unreserved seating mind, going to be mad if it's sold out, which it should be. Personally I'd rather it it was unreserved so we can go wherever we like when we get into the ground at 2.55 but no doubt there'll be plenty moaning.

I like unreserved.  I usually get my tickets separate from those I end up going with, so quite like not having to sit on my own like I will at Wycombe.

I will sit next to some unsuspecting person there and they will have to put up with me.

At Millwall I get to sit next to my mates  or my husband depending on who I choose to take with me

Hmmm..those bright green Barnes coaches draped in Swindon Town flags won't be an obvious target at all as they crawl along through the streets of South London will they :hmmm:

Sadly this is accurate. I went with the SAS last time I went there (2 seasons ago), & the rozzers got us away from the ground but then left us like sitting ducks as we crawled along the Old Kent Road. We won but it was a meaningless game in Sept, & the coach I was on got hit 3 times, big ol thuds they were. The thing is, it's not just the football fans, it's the whole community. You go past loads of shitty blocks of flats (it's probably the vermin that live in them) & you're stationary in the traffic waiting for the next thud.

Fucking good laugh aswell though, because most of them were content to just get their arses out or do the usual gestures while smiling at us - it would be perfect if that's as far as they went, but after a possibly crucial defeat to us???

Our season is starting to fall apart, first Trotter gets injured for 2 weeks, then Alan Dunne for 2 weeks, Hackett carrying an injury, Batt gets injured at Huddersfield now our left back Tony Craig is out for the season so Andy Frampton will come in for him.

Just supposing......how about if we were to win, say by a dubious late goal, which gives us 2nd place and knocks you into the p/offs......what do you reckon in that scenario? We're wondering about going on the coaches, but the only other time I've done that to the New Den we were crawling along the Old Kent Rd for ages & got hit by a few missiles. And that was a meaningless autumn game.

Be interested to hear your thoughts - this may help me decide. Cheers.
