As a husband and father of a 5 year old, I rarely get time to myself as I am either working or being a family man.

I love being alone though. When I get to a beach I'll often take long walks on my tod and one of my favourite past times is sitting in a pub as a billy no mates with the newspapers.

yeah, i wouldnt go down the pub on my own but as batch said i do like sit maround the house on my own, watching tv, playing the PS3 etc.

I do enjoy having some time to myself but I feel I have too much of it. The more I get out and meet up with mates and the less I sit on my compuer in my room the better.

Yes i do...i found it hard to mix with people,i changed jobs completly 18 years ago and became an HGV driver..i like the solitude this brings and the fact i can basicly go to work monday morning and not get hassle from anyone all week as long as the job gets done properly.
On the downside it does make you a little insular and mixing with people is strange at times.
I find myself talking singing swearing laughing joking all to myself...so i could end up in a asylum!

I have taken a part time job helping a mate out driving around the south of England. I'm very worried at present, I believe I'm going a bit mad. I'm so bored at being on my own I've started to talk to the sat-nav and sometimes purposely take the wrong turning just to have a longer conversation when it  tells me to make a u-turn.

I hate being on my own - social animal is more my cup of tea.

I've had the flat to myself this weekend and it's great just to spend some time alone, watching TV, playing guitar and whatever else without having to think about other people. And when I'm back in Wiltshire I quite enjoy the occasional walk or drive on my own.

I suppose it's all a balancing act. Life can get too fast paced and tiring when you're constantly surrounded by people, but then it's not great to end up being alone all the time.

I love a bit of time on my own - the lady went out friday night and I had the place to myself.  A couple of beers, my stuff on TV, sat in my pants.  Bliss.  I'd get very bored and lonely if it was that way all the time though.

As the father of 2 girls in a small house I love a bit of solitude.  In fact I want a shed where I can retreat to in times of need, but I need a bigger garden to put it in.

i quite like a bit of me time. I had rather a lot of it in the back end of last year though and that was rubbish :(

It starts to drive you insane. But I can see why all the Dads like it a bit!

I've spent more time talking to myself than other people recently.

I've always liked my own company.

I think it's because most other people are tossers.

i don't really like being social.

I love being around people, personally! Social animal, as someone else said. Saying that, after a heavy sesh on the lash, a bit of alone time to just mong out all day, is nice.

Have lived on my own now for 6 years, i love it.

The only me time I get is late at night after every one has gone to bed and I need it after a long day. As I'm getting older I'm beginning to realise what an intorvert I am. When I was younger I'd be extrovert covering up the fact I was introvert. I'm shit with people I don't know which is a pisser as work creates these situations quite often. As I'm getting older I feel less and less the need to please others.

I look back with fondness at times when I was a social character.  One of my facebook friends status today was something about lying in bed watching apocalypse now eating shit food and drinking diet coke and coffee.  I dream of that sort of ridiculous child free hangover sunday.

i love a bit of solitude,but used to be the total opposite.
dont get me wrong i still like company,just not as often.
