Yes, it's lovely. He's being a bit harsh, the food is excellent though the service could be swifter. Very homely though.

its just behind a bar on the seafront called dr.brightons, next to the town hall. good food and the music is ace proper old school soul, stax atlantic motown, reservations needed at the weekend, even more so now

Apart from the fact he's a big Rangers fan, he's alright in my book.  Loved it when he shouted at that french cook last week, who denied deep fat frying the roast potatoes. "Don't fucking lie to me, I can't stand fucking liars".  Turns out the frenchy was lying.

Not just cooking either. He's properly clued up as to how to turn a shit restaurant into a sucessful restaurant in a few reletavily easy steps.

I think he's do a good job of turning round virtually any ailing business to be honest. Dont fancy him as my boss much though
