I've concentrated more on the essays really as this is where the easier marks are.

Post by: STFC Village on Tuesday, June 7, 2005, 04:13:35 Have to agree with you there, it always seemed non-sensicle to be judged in a pressure situation of just an hour or two, when most people do better work with more prep time and more reference to source's of info (ie library, internet etc)
Exams put to much importance on memory, and not enough on data collecting, analysing and forming an opinion on a particular subject, which is surely more helpful to those wanting to learn. :scribe: Anyway, thats my argument against exams. I have staged several sit-down protests throughout my education, unfortunately, the government took little/no interest and my grades dropped......oh well :-))( Title: Hello.....
