Rock and Chips was painfully awful. Not a touch on Only Fools and Horses, but then nothing ever will be.

Also got Quadrophenia on. Top film 8)

RE: Rock and Chips: It was tolerable... But I'd agree that it was forgetable.

I spent the whole thing trying to figure out what I'd seen the actress who played Del-Boy's mum in YEARS ago... Then it amazingly clicked, she was in a kids show called T-Bag back in the 80's/early 90's - I loved that show - proper rubbish looking back now though...

Im at work listening to Danny Baker and feeling fucked, not slept properly for 2 weeks and feel pretty close to cracking up.Only Fools and Horses mildly annoys me and these things where they do prequels never really work do they.

The good thing about it was that the focus wasn't on Only Fool & Horses' principle characters.

It was clearly not an attempt to produce a laugh-out-loud comedy.

I watched Rock and Chips but I dont think it was supposed to be funny was it? It was more a drama than a comedy which I guess is what they were going for. John Sullivan of all people knows how to write comedy.

They had two episodes of OFAH on BBC earlier - top quality.

Couldnt take jay from the inbetweeners seriously as Del Boy because he's jay from the the inbetweeners, clunge, friend etc

obviously wasn't an attempt at a pre only fools but i thought it would have been a bit different to what it was.i enjoyed it but thought it would have been more about del boy and co,rather than his mum and the conception of rodney.all to predictable which only fools never was.

Not me ,fell asleep at my desk briefly and dreamt I was knocking a telly over and woke up trying to catch it.

I reckon a virtual Yeo away day smooch would have sorted me out. Shame.

Perhaps I should go to be and wake up in a couple of hours. That could be dicing with the sandman a little too much though.

how come you have to do work over night, thats a bit odd isnt it?

whats the point of going to uni and having a career (rather than a job) if you have to sit up all night working.

I'm enjoying the Vikings @ the Saints but I'm so tired I'm gonna have to give up on it. Long Hard day of unemployment coming up tomorrow...

Long story Yeo, it stems from having a lot of work I didn't manage to finish before xmas and having a bereavement and shit load of hassle in the new year so didn't do it then.

I've been completing and getting in work all last week but the director isn't happy insisting tomorrow is 'my last chance'. If I wasn't due a pay review I probably wouldn't be so eager to appease any disciplinary action, I hate this company and they have done their best to ruin my career this past year anyway. I don't exactly get paid very well as I'm still on trainee salary until I get a pay rise (if ever).

I have two more weeks in Wales, I just want to get the monkey off my back and never do any secondment shit again and get back into the work I've been trained to do. Once back in Swindon I can look for jobs too if needs be.

Wow I sound bitter. It's because I am.

Evening all. I have a fucking important exam at 2pm tomorrow, it is my last one of the semester then I have 10 days off, however, I'm so badly prepared for it having concentrated on a whopping great essay instead.

Second year at uni starting to bite now, what with it counting and all that shit. Fed up and sleep deprived myself, bring on 4.30pm when it's done tomorrow, sauce and sauce well.
