Did anyone see that awful women on GMTV this morning who for 6 years had pretended her son was seriously ill when there was in fact nothing wrong with him??

she had said he was allergic to all foods and sunlight - pushed him round in a wheelchair subjected him to operations etc etc

she has collected a huge amount of money in benfits as well as being on TV shows and winning a child of courage award! plus wellwishers paid for equip and holidays and the school was adapated for the child wheelchair etc.

Then apprently as her lies started to unravel she pretended she had been raped to distract attention 

I just cant get my head round it at all??

I saw that. I don't know how these people think they'll get away with it.  takes the piss out of people that really do have sick children and are trying to make ends meet to get by.

Should make her eligible for the various benefits she was getting.

Sentenced tomorrow. She will probably go to a penthouse nuthouse for we the tax payer will keep her in luxury.

Your French is accepted JFW, because that's a fucking joke. We do have a seriously lame justice system though. I remember when that American Solider was seeing some British 14 yr old and got caught. We stuck him away for 4 years or so, then when he went back to the states they stuck him away for 40 years or something. Now that's what you call a sentence.

It does say a bit about our priorities when she gets 3yrs 3 months and Canoe Man, who essentially comitted insurance fraud in hilarious circumstances, got 7-8

I know she has claimed like over £20,000 a year in benifits for 6 years so surely that fraud alone is as bad as canoe mans??

Then those 2 kids that tried to kill them other 2 kids as there was "nowt better to do" get 7 years and will be out by the time they are 18 - probably just in time to actually kill someone next time!

No they won't. They got an indeterminate sentence, meaning they won't be released until they're deemed safe. Which given they've been assessed as bordeline psychos is likely to be a lot longer, possibly never. The 7 years is the minimum period before such an assessment will even be considered

But the same was said about the Bolger killers and they (allegedly) got themselves a nice new life in Australia at the tax-payers expense.

Stuff like this really winds me up, she does something like that and gets a pathetic sentance.
