Post by: jonny72 on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, 20:01:13 Dave Watson. scored for england then years later played in a hong kong select xi against England. Nope. Has to be in a full official international between two national sides and recognised as such by the FA and FIFA. Besides, Dave Watson didn't score in that game as England won 1-0. I'm guessing that's how the person did it, but I haven't got a clue who it was. Title: Re: 5 players... Post by: Simon Pieman on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, 20:26:18 It qas probably someone who played for Northern Ireland but got found out they were English.

He played five games for Ireland and scored against England, then played eight games for England and scored for them. Looks like only 4 players played for England and another country, so I'm guessing the FA put a stop to it a long time before FIFA officially changed the rules.
