I'm leaving Slough tomorrow, and I'm well excited!!! Downside means I have to pack up my stuff, which isn't really happening if truth be told. I've got some lovely wine to see me through the difficult stretch, and some banging choons.

How's everyone elses weekend-eve?

My flight home is delayed 3 hours so sitting at work killing time. Will be in Wantage by 1 ish I think and then Xmas can begin!

Good thanks Dave - I got a lovely bag of gifts from Aveda who are one of our clients at work and I got some vouchers from my bosses and best of all a wind up racing Henry and Hetty!

I got given a 24 pack of (out of date) beer and a bottle of champagne from my work for christmas :)

I'm going out, and getting on it. And i'm proper excited. But it's fucking cold and i can't really take a jacket because when i take one i lose it. Oh, and i don't actually own one. Unless a heated bodywarmer counts and old town won't appove of that nasty thing.

We get fuck all from work but now I'm out of there who cares!

Very happy it's the weekend, and looking forward to freezing my balls off in the Town End tomorrow! Think I'll just take it easy tonight, might go wild and watch a DVD or something!

I've not been in long after a 12 hour shift.

I'm working 6 till 2 tomorrow, Sunday and Monday then back to 6 till 6 for Tuesday & Wednesday.

I have a similar problem...I don't like to wear coats etc on the lash, because you forget them when steaming later on. Usually in our warm and wet winters you can get away with a jumper...but today is fucking cold, so tonight I might have to wear some sort of extra layer.

I used to have a decent Michael Foot style donkey jacket, but sadly it fell apart and you can't seem to get them anymore.

I have been to Standstead today....my daughter is round...just had fish and chips and some cookies from an Xmas hamper....a gift from a fellow Teffer no less.

I'm trying not to drink too much today (thi might not go to plan) - setting off at nine in the morning to get to the game, and am therefore spending the evening panicking about a postponement.

I'm pretty fucking annoyed. I withdrew £100 from a betting account on the 2nd December and still haven't got it. Sportingbet are adamant it has been paid. My online banking says otherwise.

I've got to send a copy of my statement to them unless the bank has any other ideas tomorrow morning.

For the sake of this discussion I am assuming you are withdrawing to a Visa card and it is the same one you originally made a deposit with.

Get them to send you the transaction documentation proving that the refund was made (i.e. some kind of till receipt or print out containing the card number, amount, date, company name, etc).

You can then present this to your card issuer who can then go about claiming the funds through the chargeback process, on the basis that a refund hasn't been received.
