i bought a couple  of pairs of trainers the other day...

here's the first effort...off a sale rack in bristol, you can see why they are in the sale  :|  dont ask me what i was thinking when i bought them although they are the comfiest thing i have ever set foot in (see what i did there?) they have become my favourite ever trainer and have filled the roleof "everyday" trainer in my collection  8)

I've got some astro trainers; a pair of air jordans; 3 pairs of air force ones and some old skanky efforts i never wear

i've got 2 pairs of trainers (one battered for day-to-day and one nice for general going out), 2 pairs of cricket boots and 1 pair of proper shoes for those trips to nightclubs and other does that proper shoes are necessary for. funerals for example. although i haven't been to one of them for over a year. 2005 may break the three or four year run of going to funerals. still plenty of time though.

AF1s are a pet hate of mine. but i'll let you off if the jordans are jordan 4s...?

Tuscanys are the only way to go at the moment, I've got two pairs, and a pair of high tops which I don't wear.

Fraid not Dex they're a lot newer! AF1s are practical, durable, comfortable and good value for money. That's all I want in a trainer really

They're nice. I used to have a pair of Vans and they were the comfiest things ever but they fell apart, my other shoes are a pair of suede Cat trainers but they're a bit too posh for jeans and stuff. I've also got a pair of Ben Sherman's somewhere but they're proper posh shoes and I don't wear them, bought 'em for Tesco then wore my Vans all the time. They were so comfy :(

Tuscanys are not chav.  I've got two pairs for mercy's sake.

Mine are both brown though, not white.  Maybe the white ones are a little chavvy, but only slightly.
