We should be thankfull that in the position we are in we have a manager adept at making a budget stretch to a decent squad.

We'll be high mid-table next season, I'm sure of it.

I note Valencia have just beaten us to the signing of fat boy Kluivert as a replacement for the ex-resident fat boy Howard too. :x

Seriously though, any ideas?

Lee Holmes season long loan?
A new midfield?
Shaun Taylor assistant manager?
A £2k a week contract in the post for me?

Colin Calderwood as manager
Shaun Taylor as assistant
Bodin in for Iffy
Martin Ling in for Woan
Buzzer in as Smithy's replacement
Keep Diggers in marketing/goalie coach

Promotion here we come.

I'd love to get Shaun in, but I doubt King will even think of it, Lee Holmes would be a major boost, especially as he's pretty good at set pieces, now that Smith has gone.

I'd like us to get Paul Hall, because he always torments our defence, but I can't see us being abe to afford his wages - he is available on a free though.

We're going to need an experienced centre-back, and midfielder.

Not got any ideas on the CB, but for midfiled I'm still going to say that Ian Taylor would be great, it would aslo be good for Holmes were he to sign, as he will know him well.

Tierney should be a decent enough player, I hope, assuming he does sign.

I think the shock is for Sam Parkin to be sold. :|

Surely the shock would be for Parkin to stay and sign a new contract?

i think king could be in the hunt for a sheffield united player. warnock has told some of them they can leave and maybe king is sniffing around Paul Thirlwell whom he has targeted before and possibly Andy Liddell. would be good signings in my opinion
