Title: Brezovan Post by: LJ9 on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:12:16 My mate has just rang me to say that he has just seen Peter Brezovan signing on in Swindon.
Don't know the exact location about where he was but pretty sad I thought. Only if that pre-season against Ajax worked out differently....... Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: tans on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:20:13 if only he wasnt so shit..
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Rustle on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:24:08 How times have changed if this is true, not so long ago we was hoping we would't lose him to another team after his agent was touting him about.I feel for the guy i think is agent did't help by keep unsettling him with talk of a move away from the CG.
Im sure he could still do a decent job even if it's in league two.. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:32:25 Oh my god! why doesnt he just go back home?? poor guy
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: strooood on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:33:40 The opening day against Hartlepool he turned in the best goalkeeping display I have ever seen in person, his debut to boot.
Two penalty saves and some super-human reflexes. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Freddies Ferret on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:34:22 he should sell that fucking massive car of his first! sad time for him though
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: dell boy on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:40:32 He never really recovered from his injury. Smith and Brez were done no favours being changed every time they made a mistake, especially Brez. He is a decent young keeper, I wish him well.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: DV on Monday, November 9, 2009, 11:48:48 Well Smith has seemingly come back to some sort of form since the the Wilson came in and the new goal keeping coach.
I fail to see why Brez couldnt do a decent job at another club under a different manager with a different keeper coach. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Dazzza on Monday, November 9, 2009, 12:14:30 That's a real shame. I know he was on trial at Crewe but surely he can get himself a club at L2 or BSQ level?
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: sonicyouth on Monday, November 9, 2009, 12:50:07 i always thought he was a decent keeper in dire need of some good coaching.
hope he finds a club. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Nick Bamosomi on Monday, November 9, 2009, 13:57:45 He must be better than a lot of goalkeepers out there?
Just needs a coach to give him his confidence back, and he should be able to get a team in L2 or BSQ Premier. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Sippo on Monday, November 9, 2009, 14:04:42 i always thought he was a decent keeper in dire need of some good coaching. hope he finds a club. I blame that ex-scummer bloke. Can't for the life of me remember his name! Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Chubbs on Monday, November 9, 2009, 14:10:00 granville?
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Batch on Monday, November 9, 2009, 14:19:27 granville (left) http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa271/poirotgrl/Telly/open_all_hours.jpg Granville came via Wycombe. It was the fitness coach that came from the scummers. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Arriba on Monday, November 9, 2009, 14:24:01 weird how he cannot get a club.his form nosedived after his injury but he had some fantastic games for us.swansea at home sticks in my mind as he was absolutely brilliant
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: DMR on Monday, November 9, 2009, 16:20:47 Never the same after breaking his arm, in fact I'd go as far as to say he went from outstanding to useless. A couple of people I know who know their stuff have said clubs have offered him deals but he's holding out for the big time, in which case he's deluded.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Monday, November 9, 2009, 16:39:01 Yeah I guess we dont know how much effort hes putting into finding new employment?
Hes always at each game and he buys his ticket on the day so hes obviously not that short of cash yet!! Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Reg Smeeton on Monday, November 9, 2009, 17:07:48 Brez showed signs of being dodgy, before he broke his arm...he dined out on a fantastic debut, which convinced a lot of our fans he was the next Cech.
Its worth remembering he wasn't number one at FC Brno. What was surprising last season wasn't that Brez threw a few in, but rather Phil Smith did, when he seemed at least a steady if not spectacular keeper. Brez is a bit of an artist....I'd imagine Kunderaesque angst...as in The Unbearable Lightness of Being, might inspire him. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Bogus Dave on Monday, November 9, 2009, 18:55:40 He has a shit attitude

Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: herthab on Monday, November 9, 2009, 23:42:07 He was good.
Then he was shit. But he thought he was still good. But he wasn't. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Jamiesfuturewife on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 11:09:02 He was good. Then he was shit. Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: STFC_Gazza on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 11:41:43 Brezovan hit a purple patch when he got here to earn a permanent move to England, and has been shit ever since. End of.
Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Peter Venkman on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 11:43:24 He was good. Then he was shit. But he thought he was still good. But he wasn't. Spot on Title: Re: Brezovan Post by: Colin Todd on Tuesday, November 10, 2009, 16:35:25 Proof that if you have a cracking start at a club some of the fans will insist you are ace despite being a bit crap for at least 18 months.
Used to love the adver comments pages about him being the best keeper in the league etc and how we needed to sign him up to a long term deal to stop big clubs getting their hands on him. His injury was a real shame because it left him a nervous wreck, which obvuously isnt an attribute to look for in a keeper. |
