Queueing to get in.
Arrogant, power-crazed bouncers.
People who walk up to the bar 10 minutes after you and don't have the common courtesy to pass the barmaid/man onto you.
Women who use the gents.
The unavoidable 'cigarette reek' of all your clothes after as little as 10mins in a bar.
Overkeen glass collectors who consider quarter of a pint 'finished'.
Bars that are happy to serve you a pint at 10:59, then try to chuck you out at 11:05 making it out like you're keeping all the staff there unnecesarily. :evil:

The puddles of piss in the toilet (eveywhere in some places)
Losing your mates
Queuing at the bar for ages
The fruit machines that swallow my money after the inevitable drunken gambling
Pretty much everything else you said Brighton Red, except the cigarette thing doesn't really bother me

Oh yeah the queuing for the cloakroom. That's why I don't wear a coat anymore

However, a nice win can make a night! buying everyone drinks - paying for everything in pound coins!

Yeah baby, got loads planned as I haven't been out for quite a while. Got loads of nights out planned and pub crawls galore. Hope the money lasts long ebough though :s I won't be heading back to Swindon til end of June I don't think

I'm lookin forward to the nights out (assuming I survive the night after my last exam)!, gonna spend the rest of June in Brighton hopefully soaking up plenty of sunshine and drinkin plenty of lager :beers: . BBQs etc.

But I think most of all I'm looking forward to relaxing in the park / on the beach knowing I've got no more exams, essays or coursework ever!

Might visit a few friends around the country - the kinda things i've meant to do for the past four years but haven't got round to!

Then I might consider the reality of being unempoyed!  :shock:

Fair cop. What do you study? Good potential grade? I kinda wish I did an easy subject now  :(

I started studying Maths & Computing, but dropped out after 6 months - I just couldn't get on with the people on the computing side of things and didn't think I could face tackling a full-on Maths degree so I swapped over to Business & Law.

I only averaged 56 in my second year (25%/75% split 2nd/3rd year) so getting a 2:1 was gonna be an uphill struggle but I got some good results first semester 89, 78, 67, 66, 60 so it was looking do-able, but I lost all motivation towards the end of the second semester.
I'm probably looking at a solid 2:2 but a 2:1's not out of the question!

As it happens I enjoyed the accountancy when I did it as part of the business course, should have given it a little more consideration!
How are you finding it?

Bloody hard this semester (2nd year). First semester was good a 73,65,61 and 56 (bloody law) but some really shitty subjects and workload this semester - and I've hardly been out. Next year looks difficult but do-able, so I'm quite hopeful of a good grade. Weighted 50/50 between years though so this semester could ruin a potential 2:1 but still ages to go!

Met some top people on my course though and really enjoying the social side of things so it more than makes up for the work  8)

too true, too true.. it's gonna be a wrench to leave. I toyed with the idea of sticking round for another year but there are no jobs down here and that makes it unrealistic financially  :cry:

When there's group of women at the bar getting drinks, one by one.  That's why we invented the round you dozy bitches.

When you've been waiting at the bar for ages then some bird pushes in and gets served before you.

When you've been waiting ages at the bar but some blok, or woman, has been waiting longer and you tell the bar man to serve him or her first and they don't thank you.

When I worked at 'spoons for a few months during uni, patrons would argue with you that they were next when I knew damn well they weren't.  I was good at keeping track of who should have been next, apart from when my mates were at the bar :wink:

I also hated this one prick in particular up in Hull, he had the nerve to tell me I was being a dick because I wouldn't leave the bar completely unattended in order to change the Carling for him.  

I was on the bar on my own, while the manager was in the office busy doing something, why he couldn't just have a different lager is beyond me, well maybe not, considering he was a Scott, and Carling was the cheapest lager. :wink:

I will never EVER go to a pub/bar these days that has bouncers on the door, and certainly will not queue for the privilige of paying rip off extortionate prices FACT!

People who don't say, 'He's next' when it's obvious you were there first, don't deserve to live.

I went into a crowded pub in the City some years ago and as I went over and stood with the people I was drinking with, some geek turned round and said, 'Sorry mate, some one's standing there!'  I ignored them needless to say.  :evil:

The fact that you usually loose your voice by the end of the night because you have to shout everything you want to say so that people can hear you
Fat birds and ugly birds (although the fatness is usually proportional to the ugliness in most instances) that think they are the center of attention
Having to pay to leave you coat in the cloackroom

Sticky carpet.  Horrid.
Blokes with highlighted mullets.
Fat birds in ill-fitting clothes.
Something specific to Swindon - rubbish music.
End if night fights.

I dont go to Clubs anymore,its just not my bag and I don't really go to bars.I go to Pubs 8) and I like to be able to sit down and the music not to be to loud :soapy tit wank: (old fart)

What annoys me most is if there's a lack of fit single women, though doesn't matter if there's only a couple as long as they dance with me.

When they stop the music just as I've started dancing with a fittie or waiting too long to dance so there's no time to pull. Basically, clubs that close at 2am or earlier even over the weekend.

Apart from that expensive drinks £3 for a bottle of stella in the brunel rooms! That's fucking 5 pounds a pint, (they had no pint glasses).

Waiting ages to get served, normally when someone else is getting a round 'cos I generally manage to get served before anyone pushes in front.

Bouncers that are cunts.

When you can't even get a pint of Carling for under £2.

Lack of any decent music.

I hate to say it, but my hair is also like that.

My sister does my hair, and should be cutting it tonight, been thinking about changing it recently, I get very bored with my hair quite quickly, so I try all sorts.

I haven't had a hair cut for 2 months. Going for the tramp look, no gel or anything. Definately have to get it cut before the drink fest next week

Nope that would mean im in a relationship and quite frankly im too immature for that, shes what I call my non-girlfriend-lass due to the amount of time we spend together.  But she knows im out of her league!

SiPi, i too have adopted the tramp look, and it does me no favours.  No effort though, so i offset that pro against all the cons, and its a winner.

I've never been to a club and frankly you've all put me off going to one now.

You should all go to Jesters here in Soton. Always a queue to get in, always busy, hard to get to the bar and a tiny 'dancefloor' along with the stickiest floor known to man. But the drink is so cheap. Quad vods and cokes for a couple of quid makes interesting drinking! Everyone is too off their face to notice how shit the place is by the end of the night. It's great, in fact my taste buds wait in expectation...

Academy in S'oton has the stickiest floor known to man.  My trainers actually did get left behind at one point, which was disgusting.

Ahh yes. Jesters is 10 times worse. Academy not a bad night in the week, not too keen at the weekends.

No clubs are great, all these things are just minor inconveniences when there's some dj rinsin' it out and I'm grinding with a fit girl.

Alcohol and clubs go together perfectly, now you've started drinking you should start clubbing. :\/

I miss a few clubs up in Hull, but only the ones that had indie nights, as there is sort of a lack of it in MK. :cry:

We've found something that Melksham gives a shit about - if you pardon the expression.

It's not that bigger deal as I just go home and buttfuck the missus.

I think on on one of the times i've been there someone was complaining about being thrown out for pissing against one of the walls (not a toilet wall I might add!).
The queues really pissed me off for that place but who can argue with drinks prices like that. Ordering vodkas in multiples of four..

I hate getting ID on the door and when I try and get a drink. They let me in and I still get ID at the bar. Sad!

Another thing that pisses me off, even when I'm drunk is people being sick in the middle of the dancefloor
