Post by: Batch on Saturday, October 10, 2009, 08:44:10
Can't work out if its good we are at home, or bad because Norwich are fairly good.

w/c 9th Nov I think.

Would have prefered an easier team at home but hopefully a good crowd for this one (5k+) and a chance of progressing even if Naarwich arent bad.

I think it's a great draw - home at last and against a team that will attract some fans. I wonder what the price of tickets will be.

Thing is though John there's only 8 teams left in each section and 3 of them are the relegated CCC sides from last season in the Southern so a decent draw was always going to be unlikely. I'm happy we'll be at home. Carrow Road doesn't look an easy place to go at the moment.

Happy with that good draw, just out of interest how does this work,do the away side receive a slice of the gate reciepts like the FA Cup.

cheap tickets and a 7,000 strong home crowd.

Town End will be good as well.

It will probably be a record home crowd for us in the JPT. By the way when was the last home game in the competition, was it Bristol City two or three seasons ago?

Good and interesting draw because if we want to make the final then we have to beat these "big" names. Glad it's at home.

Leeds United vs. Charlton Athletic would an odd one for a JPT final but none of the major players have done well in this competition.

I expect they will only open the Arkells and Don Rogers, Spencer, can't see them opening the Town End.

I did, and I thought 'That was Saturday?'

Regarding the date, if ourselves or Norwich are forced to play our FA Cup 1st Round games on a Sunday, this games will probably be switched to the following day.

I would imagine they will have 3 stands open for this?
