I'm a bit confused. Are you saying that you are the TEF stuntman or that I am? If it's the former then I'm up for a stunt off, if it's the later then I'll have to see what the stunt is.

Seeing as Yeo is getting heavy.......your the stuntman (especially after throwing yourself down some stairs).

Might be an idea. Wasn't the whole point of the TEF to get away from the unmoderaterness of the old thisis? Now on here the likes of 4D have managed 1000 posts. That's not right.

I think that if we all meet up somewhere an effort should be made to make it more inclusive. No offence to you lot that I see in the merlin when I've got enough change for a few pints (or not), but it would be nice if the TEF's 5th birthday represented more than the clique. 

More ladies would be nice for a start.

Maybe the actual football club might help out with doing something. I dunno though, that route seems a bit too official. It might just be me but I think the TEF's at its best when it's a forum with a football club in common, instead of a forum about a football club. I'm not sure we've made it back to that since the dark days of it being locked up and protesting.

Despite the above, it's nice to think that a fan community has been part of organising all the protests and other fun. But it's lost a weird sort of innocence that it can't get back.

I dunno really. So I'll leave it up to the rest of you to discuss it.

Spot on Ben. The best part of TEF is about the community (and the 80% bollocks). The football is a mere uniting factor in it all. How this translates into a plan of action for the TEF birthday I'm not quite sure...

Obviously a fair few people on here know each other, but for those who don't I reckon it might be more fun to guess who everyone is.  As far as I know only one person on here knows me - it could be like one of those mystery evenings, everyone has a number and you have to work out who everyone is and write the correct username beside the number.  As I said, I know it won't work as a lot of you know each other, but I'm a bit bored at work so came up with this genius, if fatally flawed, scheme.

The original townend started months before, as it got taken down for a while and up. Everyone had to register again.

As a relative Newbie i can say its a stomping good forum..i enjoy it....makes you happy pissed off angry all in one...

I think only two know me, and for Health & Safety reasons I think it best I keep it that way.

Yeah, i remember that. The first incarnation of the tef used the same forum software as the old thisis, snitz if i recall correctly. That was in a previous life under my "other", thisis username though.

That was a fucker that Snitz it took me bloody ages and then it kept fucking crashing.

I see janaage browsing now and again, he doesn't post now though. Shame, he was my favourite mock-jock. Recently got married I think.

Bushey's just turned into a family man. Getting married with a kid on the way. The worst thing is he bought a Zafira before there was even mention of a wedding. Terrible loss.
