Post by: Luci on Saturday, September 19, 2009, 16:50:05
Think it was Yeovil not long ago posted that he received some crap from my email (spam or something) but just been into my sent items and its happened again

Not sure whats going on, so wondered if anyone knows anything else I can do to try stop it happening?

I really dont want to change email accounts either as its just hassle.

Nod32 will not sort it out any more than a decent free antivirus/antimalware would.

See if Malwarebytes Anti-Malware will help. Download link in the FAQ.

Ignore me, I've just actually read your post properly Luci (stupid me).

Is there anything in your signature within hotmail?
Have you changed your password and reminder/special answer?

Other than that I think the only thing you could do is to start in safe mode and do virus/malware checks. Get into safe mode by pressing F8 key before windows starts and then select safe mode.

TUrn your computer off and then on again.

While it is booting, press lots of keys and various combinations thereof: Ctrl-Alt-<Windows Key>, Shift-F16, Esc-&-F8, Caps Lock-<Power Button>, F5-Enter-Enter-Enter-Enter, F8-Del.

That should fuck it nicely and then you won't have to worry about malware any more.
