I always thought things would be OK if that had be frozen the whole time??? luckily my freezer is not big enough to hide things away and forget about them! expecially ice cream!!! I tend to think the same, but had a massive clear out recently. Stuff like icecream can be pretty deadly if it's allowed to get warm and then frozen again. As soon as it get's above 0ish all the nasty bacteria and stuff start breeding, and freezing it again doesn't kill it.
