Regarding sandwiches: Cheese and Tomato and a packet of plain crisps always a winner for me.

  I like langoustine, or other fruit de mer, with slithers of wholemeal bread and home made mayonnaise, dusted with either Cayenne pepper or paprika.

 As regards the TEF being a sanctuary for the  prawn sandwich brigade....it must be said that at the end of season do a couple of years back some TEF'ers applied the Mr Bean technique of langoustine consumption.

As someone who had a go at DRS about being pretentious about drizzling olive oil over their food (http://thetownend.com/index.php/topic,32913.msg660143.html#msg660143), this is as about as poncey as a sandwich can get! :D

I love a good sarny. Hot fillings like Sausage are the shit, but I have a fondness for Italian meats.

My favourite would be fresh French or Italian bread with a light drizzling of Garlic Olive Oil, with either Parma Ham or Spianata Calabrese (which is possibly the most amazing salami on the planet and is available from Anna & Franco's in Gorse Hill).

Mine is Mayo, wiltshire ham, brie and cranberry. Fresh bread.

A good brie and bacon although the bread is equally important as the filling or it’s a train wreck.

Otherwise a fucking good old fashioned cheese and onion.

I've taken to a Mayo, Brie, Bacon and Tomato, which came from combining the brie and bacon with the BLT. Obviously the need for lettuce is made redundant with the use of twice as much bacon.

What sandwiches do you hate, for me those spread jobs you get from Morrisons and Tescos and other major stores, for instance Cheese & Chive pretty shit, paste sandwiches now they are flipping disgusting.

Still Cheese and tomato for me as a favourite or Cheese and a very strong onion.

impossible to pick a fav but today i'll go for bacon,egg and mushroom with brown sauce.

I've got into healthy food though.....rocket and other salad leaves, tomatoes, olives, purple sprouting, sprouts and much more....love it all. Maybe that's why I've lost 20 lbs in the last 2 months  :) I still enjoy food that is not so good for you, but not as often.

Continue this until you are dangerously underweight.  Then eat and drink your way back up to normal weight, that would be a great few months.
