Nathan 'Nosebleed' Norris is being kept in hospital overnight. His nose decide to drench everything in sight with blood and then wouldn't stop.

Ah, was that what all the blood in the Arkells bogs was about? I thought there'd been a massive fight at half time ending up with someone getting their head smashed into a sink. Which seemed a bit on top for a friendly. Hope he's OK - there was a fair old drenching in there

It was about 20 minutes into the game. All but one of the STFC stewards/staff were really helpful so big thanks to them.

Took him to A&E when the second half started. He's ok, just pissed off that the bleeding won't stop I think. I reckon they may have to amputate his nose.

But think of the money he'd make as a Michael Jackson tribute act. Gazza would buy tickets, for one

Nose bleeds ain't funny - I've had them off and on for the last 20 years. Worst part is some fucker always thinks you've been picking your nose too hard and refuses to accept they can just happen. Fortunately I can normally stop mine quickly, except for the one time it was going for half an hour and I was just getting ready to go to A&E when it stopped.

I must have lost shit loads of blood over the years and am surprised I've still got some left.

same here, i get them spontaneously and quite heavily. a pain in the arse on those rare occasion's where i have a job - stand around in the gents bleeding profusely and getting funny looks like colleagues you don't know.

hope nath is alright, i'd guess they just cauterized his nose - that's fun too, it makes your nose feels like it's bleeding for days after because it's so numb

Apparently he's having an operation tomorrow and will be in until Saturday.

Apparently he's had two minor ops already, I guess to cauterise the wound.

Apparently he needs to go under as the bleeding is too far back and that's the only way they can take a proper look at it.

Obviously being in hospital I assume his phone use is rather sporadic, it took ages for him to reply to me. You should feel really guilty DV  ;)

He got out of hospital on Saturday, so think he's ok now. Well he's thinking of going to the game on Saturday so he must be feeling better.

Just checking like ... do Tails and those others who have suffered from nasal haemorrhaging find that it occurs about every 4 weeks, just after a week of mood swings?

No but the strange thing is the bloke I share a house with suffers from nose bleeds as well and he gets them at exactly the same time as me, like we're in sync or something.

You do know that a tumour is probably not as bad a thing as it may sound? Often it is just a 'lump' that can be easily removed.

But the chances are that you don't even have a tumour anyway.
