Title: To get a season ticket or not? Post by: BrightonRed on Friday, May 27, 2005, 15:01:53 I know people probably couldn't care less but I just can't make up my mind! I should be moving back to Swindon this summer for the first time in 4 years and was considering a season ticket for the first time since 96/97.
I've just given the Nazi's in the ticket office a call and they said they'd accept a photocopy of my NUS card so I'm on the verge of posting off the application... Just need a deciding factor.. What else is there to do on a Saturday? Shopping? Title: To get a season ticket or not? Post by: janaage on Friday, May 27, 2005, 15:05:37 Do it dude, could be the last time you get the opportunity to buy a Swindon season ticket. Do it!!!

Does anyone know if I can buy season tickets over the phone? Also, yeovil sonic and whits did you get season tickets for the nationwide? :) Title: To get a season ticket or not? Post by: Batch on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, 11:00:11 I have heard reports that getting it done over the phone was pretty much a no go. They either didn't answer and one person was told a flat 'no'.
Worth a try just in case that was wrong though, maybe they'll accept a fax if you get to speak to them. Title: To get a season ticket or not? Post by: yeo on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, 11:55:22 I dont do season tickets and niether should you.It is a well known fact that the real fans are the ones that pay on the day and that Season Ticket holders just want to get in cheaper thus robbing the club of profit.
It is also well known that season ticket holders are nerds that take flasks of weak orange cordial with them to the game.Normally their trousers are a little short in the leg and elasticated at the waist. Title: To get a season ticket or not? Post by: Tails on Tuesday, May 31, 2005, 12:06:21 I have to get one. Even if we lose I miss going to football on a Saturday, it's just not the same without it.

They have other strange traits as well like going to Grimsby mid week, hanging around the players entrance with a team picure of the away side for all the opposition players to sign, having a bit of a personal hygiene problem and generally not looking quite right. Or is that travel club members? Oh yes, I voted for option 3 BTW. Title: To get a season ticket or not? Post by: BrightonRed on Wednesday, June 1, 2005, 11:27:53 Well 16 out of 18 of you convinced me to get one, god only knows how it arrived on my doorstop this morning though.
Is there a post service on bank holidays? I didn't post the application till bank holiday monday, would have been picked up tuesday morning, must have been delivered, administered and sent out to me sometime tuesday daytime to arrive wednesday morning. They clearly can't be too busy in the box office :? |
