Open Notepad then type-

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop


Save the new file as Show Desktop.scf then drag and drop the icon on the Quick Launch Taskbar.

Just do <Windows> D (where <Wiindows> is the windows button between ctrl and alt.

Make sure that you have right clicked on the bottom taskbar then clicked on toolbars, then make sure quick launch has been ticked...then drag it to the quicklaunch.

Figured it out. Right click on toolbar, tick quick launch and tick desktop.
