Its was ace but so horrible!! The main man is so horrible!!!

the second episode in particular wasa bit horrendous in parts- epecially as Jimmys wife looks just like my friend Lauren! 

I only saw the first one and have sky plused the 2nd one as the Mrs was falling a kip (no fault of the show its just what she does).

Sounds like something to look forward too...

The main man is what i think is described as a right old cockney geezzer.

Same actor that played Bronson - in this one he is less scary - Bronson was top drawer

I really enjoyed it, especially as I had a quick look and thought nothing much was on last night, then on the phone to my dad and said he had to go cos was watching this new thing, so I took a look.

Lovely man wasn't he, not safe near a bottle, trowel or even your TV

But hey the guy had always wanted to be on telly. Good line that one.

i thought it moved a bit quickly last night,but enjoyed it nonetheless.mrs arriba reckons alot from the book has been missed out.

Yeah it went from like 1984 to like 1994 and the kid was suddenly a total pyscho!

Think the 4th is next Wednesday,  It seems to be repeated nearly every night on sky one or 2 or 3, the 1st episode was anyway and I see the 3rd repeating again last night and tonight.

The book has arrived!! it is LARGE!!!

And it has the horrible Freddie man on the front - he keeps looking at me!  :cry:

I totally agree - so much stuff not explained - Like if someones kid killed his cousin surely there would be more outcry??? and plus I wanted Freddie to meet with a much more violent end!!! Im stuck right into the book now so Im hoping it will be more fufilling

Agreed...limp ending though could lead to another mini series with Baby Face coming back to haunt our Jimmy.

The book I bought is a new edition brought out to co-incide with the TV series (It has all the characters on the front) is says in the front they have made 2 of the books into a series? is there a follow on?
