Welcome back but I can't help but feel disappointed.

I was hoping this was going to be a thread about the final moments of Russell Casse's life in Independence Day.

I love Independence Day. I quite often stumble upon it on ITV3/4 and just can't help but sit and watch it.

That line has to be one of my favourites from any film ever, Rich.

It's a likeable film, but the presidents speech is just a step too far. I find myself cringing so much that I have to turn it off before I pull a muscle or something.

They're after a 1st Team Secretary to work with the Manager, if anyone's interested.......

Thing is though, there are a lot of 'mericans out there who'll have watched that with a lump in their throats and will have rated Bill Pullman's speech right up there with Churchill's 'We shall fight on the beaches' from after Dunkirk (which, for no particular reason, I have added below.)
