Sorry if its been posted but Michael McIntyre is live at the Wyvern on the 10th June (same day as England v Andorra).

Tix £25 hes only doing one date in Swindon though as the rest seem to be Stadium/Arena tours.

Whenever I've seen him do stuff on the tellybox I've found it hard to find him funny. I'm not sure if he is funny or not because I get horribly distracted by something about him. It's like he's just not right in some way. I imagine I'd get a similar feeling of uneasiness if I was confronting an army of the undead.

To conclude, it's my belief that he's a vampire zombie leper.

It's my last exam that day, so won't be able to get back to Swindon in time for it. It's a shame, but I might go to the England game instead. I'm not letting the end of the year pass without some form of celebration!

I'm going to the England game, and a few beers beforehand.

Agree with your first two sentences. Admire your leap of logic to sentences 3 and 4. don't disagree with them but does require a leap of faith.

Will the warm up show differ in some way to the actual show? Is it like a pre-season friendly or something? Will he lack the commitment that he would show on a bigger stage?

I did, but Lee Evans is worth the money. To me, McIntyre isn't.

Fair enough. I think he's absolutely hillarious though, just as good as Evans IMO.

I've only seen him on the TV, but he strikes me as an amusing, make you laugh comedian, but nothing special.

RS reporting that he ran out of material in the second half!

He did, but even just chatting he was really funny! Really good show, found it a bit odd how he ran out of jokes as he was improvising for a lot of the first half as it was! fucking hillarious bloke, funniest around at the moment IMO.

Yeah it was quite amusing when he ran out - luckily with only 7 minutes to go though, although the rain on stage bit took quite a bit of time!

I think he was hoping that people sat in the front row had more interesting jobs, however it soon became apparent that they didn't!

I was really dissapointed he stopped as two of my mates were down there, one unemployed and one a student. Although one of them did get taken the piss out of for asking what Mcintyre had ON his sandwiches... Bless him.
